Michigan is definitely headed in the right direction, however they still have not beaten any high caliber opponents. Northwestern had a nice start to the season, but I think anyone would agree that they were overrated. MSU and OSU are legit national title contenders. They have been playing down to their competition because they are waiting for a challenge on a big stage. I think Michigan will keep it close in the first half, because of a good defense. But, I'll take MSU by 10+.

Michigan may have not beaten any high ranked opponents, but neither has State - I'd make the same argument of Oregon that you did of NW. And Michigan hung in with a good Utah team despite a couple bonehead plays in the first game of the season.
I'd take State with the current spread, but I have a hard time seeing State winning by 10+. The Big House has been revived this year and fans are playing a good role. Regardless, I'm really looking forward to the game. Should be fun. The Bama/A&M and Florida/LSU games should be a good too. |

Tough one to swallow, particularly when you lead for 60' and lose on a fluke play. I was shell shocked all night, but stuff happens. I had no expectations of who was going to win and was happy with the way we played. It was certainly exciting.

My guess is, he's also the guy who threatened to kill the punter.

I heard a rumor today that Kiffin might be his replacement... an interesting choice.

It has surprised me a lot how many people thought he was a great offensive mind, but he hasn't changed the Bama offense at all. I understand he is a great recruiter but why pay for a star OC if he doesn't invigorate the offense.
