I have a Dynavin head unit and im not sure this is a issue. The factory amp works fine. Is there something I am missing?

I just replied to your PM. Also posting here as others might have similar issue.

I have a dynavin with the Bimmertech Amp too. In my case, it was a loose wire in the Bimmertech harness that was killing the power to the amp. Check your harness at both ends and make sure there are no loose wires.

Do you know which wire is the remote wire. I am wanting to test it to make sure I am getting power on it to turn the amp on.

After talking with Nelson from Bimmer-Tech like 20 times today ( I am surprised he hasn't blocked my number) we figured out the Hi Lo pass filter that was installed to cut out some engine feed back I was getting when the Dynavin was installed was not allowing the amp to get the proper single to turn on. Once that was removed the Bimmer-Tech amp came on. Only problem is I had the engine noise again. So I call Nelson and he helps me load a tune and adjust the gains to get ride of the noise.

I could not be happier with the sound and quility the Bimmer-Tech with the Bavsound speakers. and a hugh thank you to Nelson with Bimmer-Tech for ALL his support. I can not thank him enough!

Ended up answering my own questions but I'll leave the post here in case it does anyone else any good:

What is the channel mapping for the amp with the E90 HiFi setup? I'm guessing A/B going to front door speakers, then C/D to rear deck, and F/G to underseat woofers? I noticed there is wiring coming out of Channel E as well I'm guessing for a center channel?
--Confirmed with Bimmertech and I muted Channels E and H once I got the amp.

Does anyone have any tunes to share for whatever they have installed?
--The amp seems to come preloaded with a tune for the stock HiFi speakers, but I need to find a shop to tune for my MB Quart 200.3 speakers.

Also for the automatic input switching does a higher "Sensitivity" mean that it takes more input signal to switch?
--I got an answer from Audiotec-Fischer and this seems to be the case. Having the slider around -50dB seems to work pretty well for me. Even with the AUX Gain down as much as possible it was just way too loud. You lose volume control from the head unit, and there isn't fine enough of control from my phone so it doesn't seem like the best way to get audio unless you have the remote to tune the volume.

Is the Rem Out terminal essentially a switched 12V power source? I am considering using this to power a bluetooth receiver that feeds directly into the AUX input of the amp.
--I didn't really get a clear answer from Audiotec-Fischer on this but this seems to be the case. They just responded with "the power input must be less than 200 mA." I measured with my DMM about 11V from the Rem Out terminal when the amp was active and then 0V when the car was off.

It seems the Bimmertech Base stereo kit ?

It seems the Bimmertech Base stereo kit ?
Comes with a Hi Fi recode.
Why is this done since it seems the 82dsp accepts
Hi Level Inputs . Is it done for sound quality or
what , as it seems this unit will accept high level inputs.
Or am I wrong about the recode?

For anyone who is interested. I had Handcrafted Car Audio of Mesa, AZ spend a few hours tuning my setup with an RTA mic. Attached is the tuning file they came up with and I think it sounds great!
I have a 2008 328xi and the HiFi setup was stock.

Even if someone can open the file, they should NOT use these settings unless they have the exact same set-up (front speakers).
