I installed VRSF silicon inlets and dual BOVs a few days ago. I did not see any performance increase, maybe a little decrease.

This log was on the stage2 FBO MHD OTS tune.

(there are two logs at this link)
http://www.datazap.me/u/turekaj89/in...og=0&data=4-22

Notice the MAF requested vs actual and boost target vs actual.

STFTs look good.

It appears I have some knock or something in the first half of the third gear pull in the first log.

Can anyone tell if I have a boost leak or something?

Did you turn off traction control? Looks like something may have interfered after the shift to 3rd, I bet you spun the tires

I pressed the dtc button once if that answers it. I'm concerned I may have a boost leak. Sometimes I see stfts at 34

did my first WOT log today, hopefully i did it correctly and logged the proper parameters. Looks like i have a bit of timing correction, i'm schedule to do coils and plugs in a few weeks. Currently waiting on those to get changed out before flashing stage 1.

Spool seems a little slow with inlets I would've thought that turbo response would be improved. You also slightly under boost target even though you close to sea level.

Check all the hose connections are good, hoses seated properly and clamps all secured properly.

Fueling seems OK and on target but you do have some timing correction >3 degrees so maybe try up the octane a little or better quality gas.

Running E30 on stock LPFP, MHD 95oct Stage2+FMIC flash

http://datazap.me/u/madman2/e30-124t...og=0&data=4-24

WGDC seems normal but I'm constantly under target. LPFP pressure drops below 60psi too, that could have something to do with it. TIA
Honestly it doesn't look too bad - they about 1psi short of target through the mid-range but do drop off quite a bit from 5000 rpm onward so could be aging turbo's or actuators.

The rest of the tune looks solid, even though lpfp does drop to mid 50's the AFR's stay on track and there isn't any corresponding timing correction, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Reverted back to my original MAP to see if my cat problems and slight vibration/judder at high RPM are to do with the stock airbox, and no surprise, fuel trims are sort of back to normal (I imagine there's a bit of time for adaptations to catch up) and no judder at high rpm, and No shadow CAT inefficient codes; so I'm looking to get some INGEN DCIs.

I did however start throwing this code: 2D5A Control motor torque limitation

Any Ideas? I've included a WOT (or very nearly) log here whilst the 2D5A code was present (I didn't realise it was at first).

I run chevron gas. It probably has the lowest ethanol content of any gas around. I'll take a stock baseline then will try a different gas.

OK guys, I'm totally lost. I've gone to an MHD stage 1 map and I'm getting the same problems.

Basically when cruising at around 50-60mph, when I go WOT, the car immediately picks up and then seems to back off and cut power a bit and the car just doesn't feel like it's accelerating smoothly.

I've linked a log file here on the Stage 2 Map (forgot my MHD tablet today so couldn't log stage 1), I'd really appreciate someone taking a look at it as I can't really see anything wrong, MODS in my signature.

http://datazap.me/u/theador/back-sta...og=0&data=4-24

Timing corrections maybe? I've sort of got my head around STFT and LTFT and to me they don't look too whack.

Didn't happen so much on my old HARTGE map, but then that was a very progressive, mild tune (sadly doesn't work with the latest MHD release, throws a 2D5A Control Motor Torque Limitation).

Thanks for that.
What's the interval for walnut blasting? I'm going to try that. Coils and plugs were done less than 15k ago. Anything else I should be looking at?

I'm going to flash the next octane map down. I always fill up with V-POWER Nitro, so assumed the 98RON map would be the one to go for.

It could be many things. Your iats are quite high , which Will pull timing. Of course its high boost too so tune as well. Walnut vlast varies some do 40k, 50k or so. Wierdly i have not done one, 94k. But i do send intake val cleaner thru diverter hose every 5k. Runs great so far.

Cheers, IATS, where are they measured? I'm stock intake and stock intercooler at the mo. But it sounds like a lot of people are running stock intake and not having probs. I'll take another WOT log this eve now the 95RON map is on. I wonder if the VPOWER nitro at the garage I use isn't up to scratch.

Thanks for your help, I'm learning loads.

Iats are measured after the ic at the cp. stock intake is fine but ic sucks. Your charge is getting very hot, which causes issues.

What the best logging resource to see what numbers we should be approximately around with each variable? I tried searching, but didn't see an MHD specific one.

any input?
