damn guys my car was on Isolde. It arrived at Port hueneme on the 5/6/08. My car is still at VPC!!! wth is going on. the rest of the people around my area got their cars already. What could be wrong with mine? Why is it at VPC for so long almost a week. and my dealership is not doing anything about it.

Emailed my CA earlier but he was out of the office, just got an email back from him.
My car has made it to the dealership!!! (Santa Maria BMW, a little North of Santa Barbara. ~150 miles from the VPC)

Yeah!!!!!!!
Will probably head up Friday for delivery!

Congratulation the wait is over. This is good news for the rest of us too as this might indicate that there are not a lot of car to be processed.

I called the 1 800# today and got told my car was still in customs. It was interesting that they also told me that the ship arrived on Frinday and the car was off loaded on Friday. I don't know how accurate their information is?? We all know the ship arrived on Sunday and not Friday!!

I have it on pretty good information that *most* of the cars that came into the VPC have already been turned around. There are the usual exceptions- damage in transit, errors in paperwork,ED vs non ED, etc. Mine is already loaded onto a truck and on its way to Denver.

Ya, looking at the other threads it seems not many vessels came in right before us:
Before us: Isolde (5/6)
After us: Pacific Breeze (5/17), Jupiter Diamond (5/18), Green Dale (5/25)

And judging by the # of stops we had, there probably were not too many BMWs on the Grus, so hopefully everyone's car is out already! If not, my guess would be there isn't too much backlogged cars, so any repairs or ED work should be somewhat quicker than average.

I'd take delivery today if I could but just lots at work, so will try to hold tight till Friday or Saturday at latest!!!
