Also, the generator is not able to create keys for MOVE or MOTION maps

I have question, I managed to get original navi USB with Next 2017-1 Europe Digital road map. All I need is activation key. my VIN number is WBAFV31090D293656....production date 04.04.2013.

I tried to generate keys from your generator, by date, but they dont work so far in my case....I inputed March 2013 or May 2013 production, sice April 2013 is not available...do you think it can be the problem?

dear EDje,

you do have two possibilities to get FSC for your car by using the generator provided:

- by extracting the file from your car using E-SYS and E-NET cable
- by using the manufacturing date of your car but there is no guarantee that this will find a working key

have you tried to create a single key instead to see if this does work? how close is your production date to the dates listed in the generator? Maybe you will need someone who can extract the file from your car using software.

Hey Jaeger, thanks for all your hard work and commitment in answering all these questions, I have an additional one for you.

I successfully extracted the 1B file out of my 2013 X6M, but my issue is with the FSC generator, it's giving me 2 errors when I start it up:

RSAkeys.txt could not be created in..(my desktop folder).
could not open lookup.xml. Attempting download.

Nothing gets downloaded or updated. I tried running the generator as administrator but that did nothing and I gave it ample time to try to download any updates as stated in the instructions. (Kept an eye open in my install folder to see if those to files existed with no avail.)

Hey there! Can we generate (DF) Route FSC? By file it don't work. Via date, i can choose route maps, but wrong generated code.

The files are there and able to be downloaded. Make sure:
1. You have write access to the folder (Should not be an issue if you are using your desktop); and
2. You don't have a firewall blocking the generator from getting the latest files. I can PM you the files, if you need them, but that means the generator will not be able to auto-update as new maps come out.

In North America we don't have ROUTE based systems, so support for DF files hasn't been included. (No access to vehicles with Entry Nav)

Yes, lookup.xml holds the information about the map regions, and is updated when new versions are released.

This means the generator does not need a new release every time new maps are available, only the lookup reference file needs to be updated.

fortunately I can at least partly contradict to this. I just used the generator for CIC Business/Move 2018-2 and the generated fsc worked fine. I tried because the generator offers the option to choose Move. So, many thanks from my side for your efforts, too.

Furthermore I'd like to mention that it worked with Windows 10 x64 for me. For extraction of the 1B file I used E-Sys 3.27 as commonly available; it doesn't need a token for this. During extraction I followed the instructions given by uobdii.com: http://blog.uobdii.com/bmw-navigatio...es-generation/

BTW: will the generator probably work in the future, or will there be an update? Even for 2019 there is no option to select different map versions for now; and after 2021 the time options stop.

2012 X5 here. Did the 2019 Premium USB method (glovebox)

I tried generating an fsc using 'by date' to no avail. Ended up extracting the fsc with the 1b.hex / usb method.

Very interesting, especially considering I would have expected MOVE to use a different RSA Key...

The generator checks for updates in the lookup.xml file, and creates the dropdown menu from the lookup.xml. The reason there are no options after 2021, is because that is the latest date found in the lookup.xml.

I'm in trouble. I have the "ROAD MAP North America Next 2019-1" on a USB drive and attempted to install it.

When using Jaegar's FSC generator I was fully expecting it to work but now none of my Navigation System is working. It just tells me to put in the code. I'm pretty scared. Can someone help me find the correct FSC code to enter?
