Mom and dads combined income in the 1980's was over $100k that's like a 1/4 mill now, yet they only allowed us to get generic cereal...
Corn flakes (no tiger) had to jazz it up with maple syrup or spoons of sugar because we did not have real syrup anyway Wow mom, $3.95 or $2.95 hard choices So thanks to the cheapskates, I never had a Taste for cereal but this looks like a fun thread sorry nothing to add to it but my cheap family |

Ewww, I can't believe you guys eat all those crazy flavor candy cereals. To each his own. I like the simple stuff.
Corn Flakes Special K with Berries Great Grains Cranberry Almond Crunch Raisin Bran And +1 on the Lactaid Milk.

Whoa....whoa...whoa........hold up here. Are you telling me there are Peanut Butter and Chocolate flavored Corn Pops???? Googling now....
Edit: Oh sweet Jesus, this is accurate. Stopping by the grocer on my way home. Good man Big Marcus! How this will go down. I will eat one bowl of this and then feel so terrible about my poor decision making in my consumption choices that I'll send the rest of the box home with the girlfriend for her kids to eat it. That one bowl will be absolutely delicious I tell you.....and worth the additional cardio. |

Cocoa Pebbles, Peanut Butter Crunch, or hot Grape Nuts (w/ apple). Nothing else matters.

Man, just in the last few years I've become LI, so I don't eat much cereal, but I used to eat it like crazy, like sometimes 3 meals a day.
My favorites were many of the ones mentioned here already. Cinnamon Toast Crunch Fruity Pebbles Cocoa Pebbles Cookie Crisp But now I usually eat these when I eat cereal. Still great, but not like the old stuff... |

In no particular order, I heart the following:
1. Cinnamon Toast Crunch 2. Cap'n Crunch's Peanut Butter Crunch 3. Rice Krispies Treats Cereal 4. Reese's Peanut Butter Puffs 5. Raisin Bran 6. Cap'n Crunch's Crunch Berries 7. Lucky Charms 8. Honeycomb 9. Golden Grahams 10. Frosted Flakes I probably eat more cereal than a standard adult so to the extent available, I always buy at Costco to get a better cost per bowl. |

Cereal is where I thrive, I have a closet full of boxes that I keep stocked up. I never run out! I even have my own (and actual silver) engraved 'cereal killer' spoon

I've only had the Frosted flavor so far. By being a high protein low carb cereal, I must say it's pretty good. Much better than one of their competitors. |
