Thicker cuts can finish off in oven once sides are blackened. I like shrimp and mahi. Done in a couple of minutes.

Love me some blackened Mahi Yum!

Especially all day long or even the next day or two. Fish is a major culprit. But especially when pan fried or using high heat. I have a hefty Exhaust system and air purifier in my kitchen too.
A coworker warmed up some fish in the microwave and the whole office smelled for a couple of days. Some guys actually felt nauseous working and complained to management. This guy actually was offended and told the guys to f off.

I can see that. And I remember a few times back when I was in Corporate America, folks heating up food in the break area that would permeate the entire floor! Needless to say, notices were posted up to not reheat things like Seafood or highly seasoned.
May seem harsh but I agreed with the decision. I can't stand MFs who do not respect others around them. Even if I love me some Curried Fish. I know good and damn well that it is powerful and not everyone may enjoy it. So I wouldn't bring it to work.

Re: grass fed beef - I recommend looking into what Pat LaFrieda says about it. I have his book and recall him talking about it in a video. I will add tonight if I can find it again.

All quality beef is fed grass for at least 85% of its life. Those grains at the end help develop intramuscular fat (marbling) that provide flavor faster. He also has some interesting points on the hyped health and carbon footprint benefits of grass fed beef.

I hear about buying grass fed beef if better but does it cost more? I don't see this being sold in your normal big bog office stores so i'm assuming you'll have to go to a real meat market for this?

Any place trendy foods are sold should have it. I'd expect Whole Foods to carry it, for example. Maybe butcher shops if you have any in your area. You can also get it from the places that sell via mail order (Lobel's, Pat LaFrieda, Allen Brothers, Flannery, etc. Not sure about Costco, but maybe.

I'd expect grass fed to be slightly more expensive than equivalent quality grain finished beef (e.g. comparing prime strip steaks).

Someone should try even if it requires forced feeding.

You think that's unappealing, try picturing the issue that arises when someone reheats fish at the all-nude gentlemen's club I DJ at.

Most Grocery stores carry it. Kroger does for sure. It will be $2-$4 per pound more.

I aggressively enforce this in the workplace.

I was thinking the same thing. I would use crushed red pepper but hot sauce on pesto? And I like hot sauce.
