This falls under the same category as the folks who track their cars and have a holier than thou or I know my car better than you attitude... yea sure bud.

Except you have no idea how I intend to use my car or how I will drive it... my car will never see a track day and your closed, perfect surface conditions have no meaning to me. Show me a lap time vs other similar cars and I am good w the track talk... beyond that it means nothing to me.

I AM however interested in how the car drives and feels on the street... how it reacts to bumps, how taught and composed its suspension is and if I will feel confident pushing it hard in day to day driving... Not many folks do reviews like this and it bothers me. The F87 would have been slughtered in reviews of this sort.

Just because he thinks the G87 is a better car doesn't mean he's shitting on the F87. Yes, he owned both M2C and M2 CS, so what. The G87 didn't exist when he owned those cars.

I had a '20 M2C as a daily for two years, and the G87 makes a compeling case for a way better daily. That being said, I am planing on getting back into an M2 in 1-1.5 years and I'm still on the fence between getting another F87 or the G87. As a 2nd car this time around, I think think the F87 faults aren't that bad if the car is only used occasionally. Better colors and carbon buckets without the entire race pack would sway me towards the G87. In Canada you are paying 11k with taxes for the CF buckets if you price out the carbon roof and carbon trim from the package. Just hard to justify.

That was true, but his statement was prior to driving the G87....there was something mentioned about keyboard warriors protecting prior generation cars residuals....as long as it floats your boat that is all that matters...love the car you are with.

This is an interesting perspective.
While many are praising the reviewer as the second coming of Christ (his name is Chris, BTW, no T), you seem to be angry at him as the devil incarnate (to stick to my analogy).

The answer is somewhere in between.

I think he's just a dude with a production team saying what he thinks of a car to a camera and a microphone... Take it for what it is.

I like all reviewers... They're just people speaking to who is willing to listen to them. When they talk about our cars, we usually tune in to see what they have to say.

Agree he's 8-10 months too late to the party, and I think he knew that, as he already had material none of the original reviewers did (the "hate" from the bros). But he didn't call my mother any names, so I don't hate him. It was fun to watch... Don't regret watching it. I actually watched it twice. (I think I watched the Throttle House one more times though)
