I see. White on white looks good. You gotta post more pics albino...it's the only thing keeping hope alive for me.

I definitely will. This is driving me nuts. The car was unloaded on 6.25, yet my CA still doesn't see it as on a truck.

I hope that doesn't mean it needed repair after the trip. If that is the case, I don't think I want to know about it since I'm a perfectionist. I'm still remaining hopeful that I can pick it up no later than Thursday night. I really, really want to spend the long weekend breaking it in gently.

I think we were on the same boat (Georgia Highway). I took delivery last Sunday 6/28...I hope everything is OK with your ride!

Don't get too worried yet...BKS took delivery in Carolina...yours had to go further and probably make more stops in between.

BKS...I love that Sedona color...wish it was available in the 335.

Exactly. Worries? No. Losing patience? YES!!!

My CA still has no indication that it is on a truck. However, he told me that cars show up all the time with no information being updated. I hope BMW's cars are better than their order tracking system.

It is scheduled to arrive in L.A. on the 6th. I expect to have it no later than the 15th. Living in the furthest corner of the continental U.S. from Germany does not bode well for those of us getting cars shipped from Germany.

How long did it take from the time your ship arrived at the port until your cars were actually on a carrier bound for the dealership?

Dunno. Mine arrived at port at 22:30 on 6.24. It was unloaded by the Port of Charleston on 6.25. The BMWNA website indicated that it was at the prep center for the first time on 6.27. It arrived at the dealer today. So, I really don't know when it actually arrived at, or departed from, the prep center. I would guess that it shipped on 6.29 though. Three days to IL sounds about right.

Just a few days at the prep center..thats good...If all goes well for me my car could be at the VPC on the 6th, on a car carrier by the 8th or 9th and at my dealership a few days later. I'll keep the fingers crossed. Hope you can post a few pics tonight!
