Picked up the car last night. We didn't leave the dealership till almost 10pm, so no pics yet. I will take some when I get home this afternoon. This car is awesome. Now I gotta get myself familiar with all the i-drive features, then I'll have to teach my wife about the features.

First off to E90RWC: An AUTOMATIC? Cmon. Real playas drive a stick

That said, I talked to my CA yesterday. Said the car was due to be processed at the VDC today, and go out on a truck to Seattle (3 day trip) next Tuesday, for a July 3rd ETA.

July 3rd would put my re-delivery at 73 days!

I called back and said, "really?, there's no way you can expedite it?" I've been planning a weekend away with the car since about may 15th, figuring there was no way in hell the car wouldn't be here by JULY after dropping off in Amsterdam in April, and he says that he can make an email to the BMW NA rep, but not really anything else he can do.

Then, *magically* he calls me back 20 minutes later and now the car is being processed *yesterday* (the same day we're on the phone) and it should be on a truck this morning for a Saturday delivery (Tuesday the 30th at the latest).

What Gives! How did it suddenly change?

/me is frustrated. Coincidentally I make my second payment on the 30th.

^ Fugg, sorry about your issues there. Hopefully, your car does get there this weekend!

Sucks to wait that long, especially after you have already driven the car in Europe!!

BTW: I own a stick e46 325i and I am tired of driving stick! AUTOMATIC FTW!!!

Happy day. It's been released to trucking. I talked to the 1-800 number today. Still not *on* a truck, but at least that's a start.

I snapped a few crappy cell phone pictures this morning. Got home last night and feeling very crappy for some reason, so I didn't bother moving the car out of the garage for some pictures. I will get some better pictures later.

Yes, we have the same car.

I got it from Shelly BMW. I've heard some bad things about Shelly BMW, however I think it depends on the CA. My CA is Michael Nguyen, and he has been very helpful and treated both my wife and I very professionally.

Aren't you on Acurazine too? You have the TSX that got into a wreck not too long ago, right?

All I can say is, that really, really sucks after all the anticipation. I'm sure BMWNA will take care of it quickly. But, it certainly is a buzzkill.

First off, great cars so far guys! Great chatting with you all, made the wait bearable. Here is my e90 picked up last night. (Ignore the "mats" the dealer didn't have all weather mats in stock, so they are on order...)
