Well, mine isn't paid for and that doesn't seem to phase the guy. In all fairness to him though, I haven't really been bugging him too much.

I just talked to my SA and she said the car is sheduled to be up here on the 17th, but she said it could be sooner. "It depends on how they load them up. " I am in Sacramento, so for any of you Bay Area guys, it should be any day now as well.

Another member had great screen shots of the BMW DCSnet from his CA detailing every step of the process from Recieved at VPC a couple of days after the ship docked to the Date work order was printed, work completed and estimated delivery date (it all turned out perfectly accurate). His car was on Pegasis Leader. It was not an ED car. Others have called the west coast trucking company for BMW's, Waggoner at 800 449 3195 and gotten information about loading on the truck and estimated delivery date. Harass your CA.

I am waiting on an ED car on a ship scheduled to dock next Sunday. BMW 800 number shows the car in transit. if you call the BMW 800 831 1117 with your order status number, please let us know how accurrately or if it reflects the movement of your ED car from port to dealer.

Thanks for the info Shawn. I just gave Waggoner a call and they said the car has not been released to them. Still at VPC i guess. My CA is apparently always off, so i had someone else check status at the dealership, and it hasn't shown up in their computers yet. eh???

BMWNA 800 only has information regarding when it was loaded on port. I also called E H. Harms and they only told me when the boat docked in Oxnard.

I hope you have more luck with the status of your car.

Well, my long lost CA just called and said my car got to the VPC yesterday. It should be up here by next Wednesday, but could be sooner. I feel like a part of the group again!

Seems like ED cars take longer to go through the VPC,

mine arrived 10/26 ( East Coast) and I won't be able to pick it up till tomorrow, so 1 day short of 2 weeks. It was waiting to have an ECU upgrade done I was told. Hope you get yours quicker then I did.

It's not I that is lucky, it's Kablemodem. He said he was picking it up at lunch but we haven't heard from him in hours. He's probably out driving it and hopefully TAKING PICTURES for us to see.

um, I just got off the phone w/the bmw 1-800 operator and she said my car is at the dealership?! The automated system said its "in transit", and the OC says its "at the VPC"....this can't get anymore confusing...I'm an emotional reck right now.

Well, my CA says it is at the VPC, OC says "in transit" and 800# says at the port. At this point, I guess I will roll the dice and go with the one that gives me the most hope (CA). Just got to sit back and laugh at how bad this whole vehicle tracking system is.

Yay, I got it!!!

It took about two hours for them to assess my trade, do all the title transfer paperwork and set up the financing, then about another hour for training. I guess the training fee is worth it, especially since they didn't charge me for it.

I'm still a little high from the interior smell.

The car had four miles on it and now it has eleven. I was so anxious to get the car that I forgot to eat lunch so the first thing I did was get something to eat. Then I cam home and activated Sirius. I'm still trying to figure out how to set everything up as far as the steering wheel buttons go. iDrive is simple to use, but it will take a while to get familiar with it. I made and received a couple of calls via bluetooth and the people at the other end said I sounded as clear as a bell, and that says a lot considering I am not a bell.

In the limited time I've had to drive it I must say the car is awesome. The accelleration is amazing and the overall feel is wonderful. The turning radius seems as tight as that of my Boxster (goodbye, old pal

). It's definitely faster than my Boxster, although the feel is definitely different, but I knew it would be. The ride is much softer than the Boxster, which is a good thing.

I'm going to take it for a drive once the traffic dies down a bit. Here are a few pictures I took.

I just got a call from my CA and he said that car will be at dealership in less than an hour...he said they need to prep the car before the delivery and i can pick it up on Thursday :rocks:

So, I drove the car around some tonight. I really love it. I thought it was fast until I discovered sport mode and now it is really fast!

I was trying to make other e90 drivers jealous, but they can't see the badge at night!

The only flaw I have discovered is a dead pixel in the nav screen. It shows up as a red dot against any other background. Is this is common problem? Should I ask for a new nav screen?
