Depending on whether you did NETTODAT coding or used NCS Dummy to change the DATEN file, you would need to set that value to all of the MIND_ANZ_ZYKL_TIPP_BLK values.

My preferred method is to use NCS Dummy to modify the DATEN file, then you can change them all at once and write the modified file to the car. Then you just code that module as before, making sure you select the proper wert value that you modified.

I'll use NETTODAT coding.
If I put the 2nd key in the ignition and code it again it would work?

Yes, but it would most likely code the other key back to its default value, as NETTODAT coding isn't permanent. That's why I like to modify the DATEN file, then you can take care of all of it at once.

need you advice

Joepcreparis,

I like your video on how to change the number of blinks for turning signal that you posted a while ago. I wonder if your instructions are also good for 2013 X5 xDrive35i. Thanks.

For me it was different. I have a 2011 E90 LCI. The line of the code stated in previous posts was correct but for me, the value to change (2F) was in a different sequence.

My line of code was:

B 00341500,0010,28,27,28,27,28,27,28,27,28,37,5A,2F, 00,00,00,00

Changed to (for 5 blinks):

B 00341500,0010,28,27,28,27,28,27,28,27,28,37,5A,37,00,00,00,00

Hope this helps anyone who might be facing the same issue.

Finally managed to change the blink count.
I did some step by step screen shots and try to post it here.
Hoping that someone will benefit from it.
Please correct me If I have explained anything incorrectly.
It was FRM3_E89.C32 that I had to edit in my car.
Thanks, this is exactly what I needed.

Only thing is that when picking the module, it'll be different for each car. NCS expert should tell you which module to use when you scan the car.

One thing that has annoyed me is when you have the front wipers on select reverse, the rear wiper doesn't start automatically, if anyone knows how to do this I would be eternity grateful
