I tried to place an order for a 1960 legacy plate. When I click Pay or Submit to buy it, it keeps rejecting and going back to the shopping cart. I called the DMV and they said they were aware of the problem and asked me to mail in my form. Anyone experienced the issue?

, I think you have to pay $50 to get the plate, and then $40 to renew it every year.

just wondering. if i order my plates and send in my payment and I get denied does my card get charged? or does my card get charged when it is accepted?

They charge $50 right when you order it.
