Install took around 3.5 hours. Hard to spot any difference comparing both as the compressor wheel is inside the housing. When turning jb4 off car drove like it always did.
Currently working with Terry building a map for it by driving the car and sending the logs. Once we are done with it i will book some dyno time. So far the logs look nice! |

Using total excellium 98 over here in belgium. Nothing better to get here. I dont mind topping it off with some 100% bio-ethanol. This would be US 93 and E100 mix i guess

Yup, just wanted to make sure since us Californians only have 91 (Euro95) and the occasional E85 station. Thanks!

Yes I am pushing the car. Working with Terry on the right settings.
However from current logs I seem to get around 3 psi more between 5500 and 6500 rpm. With stock turbo it did 15.5 at 5500, 13 at 6000 and 11 at 6500. With current turbo it does 17.5 at 5500, 16 at 6000 and 14ish at 6500. So it feels much stronger than before. But we're still tuning. |

Further tweaking boost on map6. Currently doing 17 psi at 6k and 16 psi at 6.5k rpm. And i believe the turbo has more in it.
Any ideas how boost reflects torque? If it would be linear i think the dyno will be very nice. Turbo can so 20 psi mid range as well however grip becomes an issue and you need more octane as well. |

Dyno will be postponed. High boost is causing car running a bit lean at high rpm.
Flex fuel wires addon for jb4 will address it. Its already on its way. Untill installed i am lowering boost a bit. Tnx Terry from bms for his tremendous support. Once installed i think we will find the boost limit at high rpm and get some nice dyno numbers The car is like a rocket really. |
