Looks like we've been getting a few of the same questions so I will address them here.


why am i getting the Error code:
For whatever reason, the Apx H8 kit does not throw a code, however the DDM one those. Reason why everyone started to get the APx kit instead.

the H11's however regardless it seems is throwing a code, this i sincerly appogize for, i am working on it, however if anyone would like to return the kit, I am more then happy to refund you.

why didn't i get the DDM kit
the DDM kits we're not shipped as they we're throwing a code 95% of the time, however the apx kit we're throwing a code 5% of the time. that is the reason why our shipping department started to ship out the APX kit.

James thanks for the response. So I got the APEX H11 kit so I'm guessing it wil throw an error. I will send you a PM in regards of this issue.

Glad everything is okay with you. Sorry I pm'ed, called, then posted.. but I was getting worried we haven't heard back from you. You have to understand since my last bad experience in another group buy with Europassion (still have not received my refund).

I have ordered both the H11 and H8 (still have not received 1 set of H11) and have confirmed that the APEX H11s do NOT work. What should I do with the APEX H8? Will they throw an error too in an E90? I was under impression that these are all tested, at least that's how they were advertised.

Let me know if you plan on sending us replacements that will work without error or should we ship them back to you?

Yes currently most of the E90 h11 kits are throwing errors, however you mentioned that the H8 kit is also for an e90? That bulb will not fit correctly, however if you are installing it on an E92 then you are good to go.

I will let you guys know later today once tyler gets back to me on the fix.

Okay, so I can't use the H8's either. Looks like I'm shipping them back to you if Tyler can't come up with a solution. If you didn't ship out the last set of H11s, don't. Otherwise I haven't receive it yet.

yes Bob, after we started to hear about these issues, we did not charge or ship out your last order.

The H11 is for the E90, while the E92's require the H8's.

Mtech fogs require 9006.

Great. Will wait for your update. I'd have to go back to my car guy to get them uninstalled to pack up and ship back.

BTW, I ordered the H11 for E90 fogs, H8 for E90 low beams, and the other H11 is for a Lexus IS250 low beams.

oh ok... well then the Lexus and H8 low beams should work without a problem. I wish I knew thats where they we're going. If you would like, i'll trade you those out for the slim DDM's.

I just got the replacement bulbs and capacitor from Creative autoworks.

Just doing a quick test on the drivers side and letting the car sit for 20min i get NO ERROR!!

I dont think ive been this happy since the day i bought my car!!

Seriusly guys ive gone through 3 pairs of Mtec HID fogs from varius vendors and at this point i just wanted some to work without error and I knew if E92 didnt get errror i knew Creative could figure out something to make e90 error free as well.

Im going to fully install them in a bit and go for a morning drive and give a full report this afternoon!!

What's the solution? Pass through capacitor? does this solution for E92 work on the E90 H11 fogs? Which kit? DDM or APEX? From what I hear, this only works with E92 H8 and not E90 H11. Hope Tyler can come up with a solution soon. I'm going to wait another week b4 shipping them back.

I think i might want to get these for Headlights H7 do you have any pics of the beam pattern because i heard reflectors with HIDs dont do very well....also no error correct? and where could i put my ballasts if i do the headlights? thanks!

Thats exactly what were working on bud

UPDATE:
I get no error when the car is on but not running. But after i start the car it comes right up and the error hits and withing 3min the lights both shut off at the same time!!

Im so confused of why it gives NO ERROR when its not running but as soon as I start the car it gives error..Before when the car wasnt running the Error would show up but know it doesnt with the new cap and llights but as soon as u start the car I get error and they shut off!! Its like it solved the problem halfway!!
