I mean, I *get* wanting to do something different and unique, and I *get* pouring your heart and soul into something and creating something truly unlike anything else, ever, but there comes a point when one should ask, "Do I *need* 8 exhaust tips and 6 brake lights?"

True story: My previous car was an 04 Acura TL (pearl white). My wife and I drive down to visit my parents after I purchased my 2012 AW e90 M3. Pulling into the driveway, I see my mom outside, I give the s65 a nice rev. We get out of the car, it even takes her a minute... "now, that's not the same car you had is it?" Seriously?

Someone said it but it doesn't take away from the fact that mine is a true ///M. If it gives you a source of enjoyment in your ride then Good on you. What is reeeeaaaly sad is in half the pictures the badge isn't even on straight lol....

I also agree. If a car goes to the dealership and it has badges that shouldn't be there they should be removed....

This car was originally listed as a e93 M3. They either didn't know the difference or someone made them change it.

I dont think these people are out to fool anyone with their M badges. They just like the thought of an M badge on their car.... Whether it is simply the design or they like the M heritage

When paired with a number they are. Saw an E46 330Ci with an M3 badge Sunday. His car sure, but an odd thing to do.

Saw these 3 yesterday, the red and black e46s had m3 badges in the back, but didnt get a chance to snap it, I guess the ///M fender decal is good enough. The e39 "M5" no comment.
