I just did one yesterday also, 25 row. Yeah, I just filled normally and then saw where I was on the gauge then added until full.

Replaced the switch in my bimmergeeks cable. They use some crappy glue to attach the switch to the case and well leaving it in the car all the time it probably got hot and the glue melted into the old switch, seizing it. The case has a bunch of cracks everywhere so had to use 4 small bolts and nuts to secure the new switch in place

Installed the LED plate bulbs and trunk handle with camera.

Started fitting the front intakes on the bumper. They are going to have to be cut a bit.

My rear brake sensor contacted my wheel and kinda messed it up. Now its saying I basically need new brakes in a few hundred miles. Bummer.

My bleeder snapped about a year and a half ago and I guess the wire is just long enough to hit the wheel. I'll zip tie the new one out of the way.

I deleted mine as soon as I got the cars; cut the wires short, soldered together, cover up and now less BS in the way.

Still gotta reset the nonsense every 25K or whatever it is though

This happened to me once on a brand new car. Sitting in the driveway the rear window simply exploded. Never found out why. Some say it was from heat build up in the car.

This happened to a friend of mine years ago. Honda Odyssey, I believe 2001, that must've been a few months old at the time. Driving on the highway and one of the windows on the rear sliding doors exploded

Well, doesn't everyone hate those freaking sticky door handles on our e90s?

Check this out....instead of taking the door cards off, grinding rivets, and wasting time.

I'm doing this.. cost me around $20 and 1.5 hours of sewing (which I suck at).

I'll post a finished picture when I'm done. A monsoon arrived so I had to stop.

Yep, I tried that and it worked well for three years, until I had to take the door panel off to put in new speakers. With the cover on, you can't separate the halves for access to the bolts holding the panel on, so you have to cut the stitches and remove the cover. I went with replacement handles on the front and both rear doors. Better long term solution.

I hope to not have to replace speakers. I'm satisfied with the ones I have. Time will tell

Was playing with the n52 at home and removed the vanos check valves which look great.

However I noticed this plug. It looks very much like the outlet for what would be used for a turbo oil feed line. Anyone have any insight on what it's purpose might be in maybe some other engine or application where this was used? Maybe BMW put that there as a sign for people to boost their 328s

It's listed as a blind plug on realoem for n52 and for n53 as some sort of hydraulic valve 11417584991

EDIT: Read about it on. ISTA and it's interesting, the opening is meant to fit a hydraulic valve for when the engine is being checked for oil pressure. Pretty cool.

Gave her a good ole bath (Hand washed) on my break and put it on the other side of the service bay so the car wouldn't get filled with pollen.

Excuse Snapchat's camera and the caption. They both suck

One of the ford techs offered $13k for it... idk if he was joking or being serious...

Impressively clean valves. Any issues accessing them?

I need to do this as well. Did you follow the procedure where you engage the spring under the leather boot?

I LOVE silver metallic on our E9x, absolutely gorgeous. I looks much better than the silver on the E46, F3x, G20 for some reason.

They're not from my car but another engine. I think having it in this position makes them a hell of a lot easier to remove I'm actually curious since I have never checked the ones in the e92

Debating on my front grills. The "Grill" section will be going black. The surrounds are currently color matched. Do I keep them this way? Or go black?
