Hey guys have a question for you? This mostly pertains to the guys on this forum with lowered cars. I'm about ready to drop my e90. It still has 2 years on the CPO warranty. Have you ever run into any issues with warranty work from chicagoland dealerships? Just looking for some experiences.
Thanks |

Yeah that's what I figured. I was more or less wondering about other things going wrong. I would expect them to do warranty work on a blown strut. Thanks guys.
Btw I'm going with spring and struts. HR and billstiens.....it's an xi. |

My problem is that I am 5'6" and somewhat athletic so I am very difficult to fit properly off the rack especially with shirts. So its either I have alot of extra material that bags out and gets wrinkled or I have them custom made.

That's Ok too, again, I was trying not to sound argumentative (failed). But maybe I was confused on what he was referring to. I'm 43 chronologically but yet to go through puberty.

If it is for work everyday use, and you are entry level, sure 4-7 $250-$400 suits is acceptible. But even then you should have at least 1 awesome "go to" suit for hobknobbing with partners and important ppl. Again, its alot like buying a car...eventually if you want quality workmanship/materials/fit/finish you are going to have to pay to play.

Even 5-700 is cheap for a nice, decent suit. I just meant if your on a tight budget and don't wear suits all the time you can get a Hugo boss suit that is nice for $400.
Other wise sure if your gonna meet with clients all the time spend a little more. But I have a 3 or 4 cheap ones that I use for church and things like that, but I have 2 or 3 that are for nicer occasions like weddings. Point being if you spend 4 or 5 hundred you can get something decent. What are we talking about anyway?!?! |

$500 is about where the second tier of suits start. If you pay attention to detail you can tell the difference. A good tailor can help a cheap suit look better though. Shirts are key however....especially since you will be seen more without the jacket. Crisp/clean (doesn't mean starched to hell - cuz there is no better way to ruin a shirt then with starch)...solid color or vertical stripes. Collar and cuffs can be white. Try to stay away from wearing too many white shirts.

James - regarding David Rubin...
I have only had to one time replace cuffs on one of my custom shirts because of dirt more than wear. Its been like 5 years for some of these and they still look great...no button replacement or stitching issues. I get my shirts cleaned...no starch on a hanger. Same goes with pants and suits. The only issue I have is that some of the early pants are too big for me now and I need to find time to bring them in for adjustment. Otherwise no issues. Hang em in the bathroom from the bottom full length overnight and through shower after wear...have pressed periodically and cleaned periodically.
