still mounted.
hand sanded and using sheet packing paper, uber-draped off all areas and used masking tape for difficult areas, spray-can primer and then spray-can hammertone silver. hand sanded the triangular metal piece located at the center (just below the middle of the differential) and made it shiny and then masked off and spray-can clear coats applied. did the same with the front rotor backing plates and hubs: |

the list of mods is long... I will give it a try if I can remember it all lol Underhood: Pure stage 2,Pure inlets, intercooler, downpipe, meth tank (in trunk) with dual injectors stock intake with K&N Fuel-it bucketless pump Resonators mid and HKS exhaust ( I think it sounds the best very deep only slight drone between 1800 and 2100...sounds amazing at 7K) Suspension: all M3 upgrades that were available front and rear, Sub frame bushings, just changed in this pic to TC Racing coil overs. 400lb front 700lb back from Bilstein B 14kit which was OK but too soft...Front Dinan swaybar and H&R rear. changed to M3 rear diff....so it gets great traction Stoptech big brake front and rear ...Apex EC-7 wheels 235-35/19 front and 265-30/19 back PS4s Trim blacked out and rear diffuser painted black Carbon wrap on all interior pieces Rear camera added Roof open and close on key fob Probably missing some things is been a good car has 82k on it now and just did water pump and everything connected to it. Once warmed I beat the piss out if it and it keeps coming back for more. Running about 22lbs of boost with Wedge Tune. 0-60 best run was with roof down 3.89 tough to get good launch either underboost or over the the tires just light up did a 3.9 and in only 152 ft which is a more impressive run. need to do a 60-130 run but thats tough without drawing too much attention I bought a 2005 M3 ZCP and thought about selling car but with the power and drivability I just cant part with it...I takes on all comers thats for sure.. I probably have spent as much on parts and labor as I did the car back in 14 but for 60k (to date all in ) I feel its been money well spent!

It’s been awhile e93 gang. Here are a few shots from the past few years. Just hit 14 years of ownership. It’s no longer a daily driver so maybe I can do more with it.
I think the most notable changes since my last update are the interior, power mods, and custom exhaust. Stoptech BBK is going on soon once I get the chance to install. Hopefully I can get some more track time soon. Just updated the garage profile on the forum to the best of my memory if you’re interested in a mostly complete mod list.

recently, removed the front bumper to replace both front brake air ducts that had cosmetic damage, a broken LF fog light bracket, a LF (front half) wheel well fender liner and both front bumper brackets; it appears all of this damage was caused by the "trained professionals" that "serviced" the car in prep for sale....
i have made it new and pristine, reversing the hack's "repairs": Last edited by E93Seattle (Racerbruce); 12-10-2023 at 01:51 PM.. |

I found a local upholstery shop to mix up some saddle brown dye that matches my shade. Next I restored the leather and then dyed the parts myself. The restoration part took a long time since the leather had a few gashes and rips. Youtube was my best friend for that part. To restore the black plastic parts of the center console, I used colorbond LVP black; it matches OEM plastic pretty closely. Then I made an alcantara topper and adhered it to the top part of the dash. It is not perfect but I made it...so I'm happy with it. The steering wheel was made by AZA auto wheel 6 years ago. The leather airbag cover I recently got from some shop that I will have look up to find the name. Essentially they made me a replacement cover that replaces the spongy stock airbag. It was a little scary at first disassembling the airbag fully but it was not bad at all once I got started.

[Sorry, old thread. but just had to add mine... lol] **UPDATE** sorry for my confusion, but I am told this car is a E46. Not a E93. Last edited by ezurick; 04-07-2024 at 04:02 AM.. Reason: wrong information |

Looks super clean and well kept but hate to be the bearer of bad news...that is an E46 not an E93.

Not bad news... I just didn't know. I thought at first it was an E46. I am new to BMW's and wasn't sure of the difference. I've owned other euro vehicles and most are pretty clean of model numbers. At first I tried to acquire the specs from BMWusa.com and they don't recognize the VIN for simple owners manual. I don't need the manual, but was trying to learn the specs of this car. Sorry for the confusion and I'll delete the post.
