I'm American, I don't pay taxes. That shit is for the rich.
Also, I don't do Barefoot either, it's just for guests. I have a nice selection of Cabs, but I don't let anyone touch them. They are mine, and mine only. Well..., my dad will drink them when he comes to visit, but he usually replenishes my stock with something better, so that's alright. |

That's EXACTLY what happened to my wife with our third. I felt like slinking out of the room, there was NOTHING I could do.

I had the first anesthesiologist come in and put the epidural in my spine after trying to go natural for so long. He was kinda mean. Two hours or so later I woke up from a nap in excruciating pain. The second anesthesiologist (a very butch girl) kept rubbing my head and telling me she was administering more pain meds through the IV in my back and to "give it time to kick in" After 2 hours of her bullshit I was screaming and crying I even threw my pillow at her because I wanted a new anesthesiologist to come in. So they got a third to come in and he was sexy as hell. Wonder if he's single.

I do appreciate the trauma to that particular area during child birth, and the fact that body part is built to handle having 10 lbs being pushed out...and in no way am I trying to underscore that level of pain; However...
I have a dear friend who also played VB since the age of 12...she has long since retired, married and now has 4 children - all four delivered naturally. Like me, she has also had 2 full thickness rotator cuff repairs. I asked her to compare child birth to rotator cuff repair...hands down, the rotator cuff was the most painful experience (her words not mine). The pain you feel at the exact moment the ligament tears is indescribable. But it doesn't stop there...your arm is on fire. Literally, on fire like someone has ripped your arm off and is jamming a hot iron poker where your arm should attach to your shoulder. Then - you have the weeks of excruciating pain radiating from your shoulder (to everywhere else) while you wait to have the surgery. Then after surgery - 6 weeks of sleeping in a recliner, more indescribable pain during rehab. If your lucky - the ligament tears loose from the bone...if your not lucky and it ruptures in the middle - then your arm is propped at a 90 degree angle out from your body for the 6 weeks it takes for the ligament to reattach to the bone. Next comes the muscle atrophy and weakness - lingering ghost pain, range of motion exercises to regain the ability to pull a shirt over your head or wash your hair...and don't get me started on Kidney Stones... For your viewing pleasure...

Yeah, I'd get a dozen kids over a knee.
Yeah, giving birth hurts but there is a point for the pain and a gain. A knee fucked up: Well, I have had only mild injuries in those but it takes weeks to heal even those.
