Did a quick 9 miles on the trainer to get my 100 for the week. Rain tomorrow, so I may ride the trainer again or maybe I'll just rest a day.

Glad you managed to get some miles in.

I have only been out twice this week, mainly due to weather.

Weather is great today, so just managed to get 31 miles in - only problem was cramp in both legs about 5 miles from home. I rode through it, which took about 3 miles, but the last 2 were taken very gingerly. I spent a few hours in the car and sitting in a restaurant yesterday, so wonder whether that had any effect, as I rarely get cramps.

Weather is set fair for the next few days, so will see if I get any time in the evenings to get out.

Managed to get 12.4 miles in on each of the last 3 evenings after work. The weather is very warm here at the moment, so I am drinking the same volume of fluid as I do on my 30+ mile rides.

It's super humid here and we've had thunderstorms rolling through on and off during the day, so I've just been doing 20 miles on the trainer at night. Our weather doesn't look to improve anytime soon, either.

Thanks. I think I'm back to 100%. No nagging cough and no fatigue. Now if the weather would just cooperate, I can get back to making up the lost time. I'm 440 miles behind pace for my yearly 5k goal.

Hey everyone! I am a NEW, FIRST TIME BMW owner and loving it! I just bought a 2021 330e with 13K miles and it's amazing.

I am a runner, cyclist, and rock climber. I have a titanium bike that my husband had build for himself as a cyclocross bike. I am just as tall as he is and he doesn't ride anymore... so I ditched my cyclocross bike and took his! I put skinny tires on it and it has a big chainring... so it's essentially a roadbike at this point. I also have a mountain bike (but I don't do anything technical anymore - too old for that!).

I'm a teacher and have been packing in the miles this summer. I ride way more than I run these days because I am south Texas and it's way more enjoyable to ride than run when it's 10000000 degrees out.

This week I've ridden almost 100 miles so far; I've been riding 30-50 miles 4 days a week this summer. I love riding - it's my "me" time!

We had heavy downpours the entirety of last week. We hope to get a 40 mile ride in this Saturday but safe bet some of the trails will still be a mess.

I got my enduro seat installed for the Marfa 100k ride but still haven't had a chance to test it out.

I also swapped out my Thule bike rack out for a set of more stable fork locking Rocky Mounts.

Got in a quick 20 miler today before the rain hit. Good to be riding outside again. Tomorrow looks rainy again, but the weekend looks clear. I'll just need to get out before it gets too hot.

A stopped train on the Hirsch road leg of our 40 mile route limited us to just 32 miles and some change. Pushed out at 6:30 to avoid the heat but the humidity was still quite high. Trails were generally dry with some areas of mud but otherwise serviceable. One section was unpassable and had to be walked around.

I have my 100 for the week already done. I was thinking of trying a ride today, but the dew point here is already at 72F and heading up. With temps getting to the high 80s, that's going to be nasty hot and humid. Maybe a few miles on the trainer tonight.

Sore throat started on Thursday, and now into a full blown summer cold, so no cycling for me until that has cleared up - weather was great today too! Need to mow the lawns tomorrow, so I will at least get some fresh air!

30 miles today, great ride. Same trail as usual, I just kept going for 4 more miles. 15 miles out and back. Longest ride ever for me!

No, not yet - I don’t have any in date, and don’t really want to go out. I am not feeling bad though, just a runny nose and a little occasional cough, I have washed and vacuumed both cars this morning, am cooking a roast lunch as I write this, and have lawns to mow later + some time making music if I get a chance. But not up to cycling!

Watched the Women's Olympic road race this morning, and it was pretty damn amazing!
Racing through Paris and looping up to Sacré-Cœur in Montmartre three times... wow!
No spoilers if you're going to watch it, but take in the last hour or so for sure!

Got out before the serious heat. 25 miles. Tomorrow and the rest of the week are supposed to be much cooler. Looking forward to that.
