Armpits chest and legs I usually use a #3 gaurd. It doesn't look like it's been shaved but keeps it from getting out of control. I also keep the back as close to no hair as possible.

Lord of the Manscape I can handle. Resident Manscaper I will not abide. As for taking it to that level, nothing wrong with a guy who takes care of himself. Reason I asked about the preferences is because I heard once that full shaved could hurt the labia, as the hair starts growing, getting raspy. Only heard it once from one person though so not sure if she shared that mindset with someone else

The trick is to keep it shaved. There are a ton of tricks to this. I have also heard complaints that once the hair starts to grow back it can be irritating to the labia.

Resident Manscaper it is. I don't think much about the rest of body hair usually, unless you're a complete gorilla. I have yet to date one of those though.

I recently discovered a friend of mine has no chest hair, save for thick discs of hair around his nipples and a happy bush (versus happy trail). We are at a loss as for how to address the nipple hair.

Nipple hair needs to be the same length as the rest of the hair on the chest, end of story. No hair shall infiltrate the areola period. If the only hair on his chest is around his nipples then it needs to be waxed.

I won't lie, I'm a little disturbed about the mental image I have of no chest hair but only nipple hair rings.
