I'll be running Hankook V12s. I wonder how they compare to the Falkens? I definitely don't want a big stretch, but a little bit would be OK. Damn, now I'm starting to think maybe going to the 8" wheel with a 235 could be a nice fit … more on the square side, rather than stretched. Though, I'm afraid it might be too meaty. Guess it all depends on the tire. This crap is complicated without being able to do side-by-side comparisons.

No problem! Yea it's ridiculous honestly.. I read the falkens tended to run narrow so I thought the stretch would have been similar to the conti's.. Or worse so I could run spacers. But they definitely are a touch wider lol.

So I have no idea how those V12's will fit. I never knew how complicated wheels and tire decisions really are haha, especially when going for that perfect fit.

Picked up my car from Houston this weekend. Love it. Only thing Im worried about is there is a slight clank when starting the car? Clutch all the way in...seems like it's firing too early or something and makes quick clank as engine fires. Any geniuses around here want to take a listen and help check over the car with me? I'll provide beer...

Alternator pully? Engine mount?

Would love to see if someone could check over rest of car with me.... Looks good to my untrained eye but I'd be curious to see what the car needs...

Wasn't me but I could've used some this morning! Anyone heading out to c&c this weekend? I'm making a point to get there this week

Not this time around. My car is still garaged while I get my wheel situation sorted. I ordered some yesterday but they won't be here and installed by the weekend.

The cars and coffee in Greensboro isn't even until march 15th @8am. So I assume the event is in the Raleigh Durham area? ( for this weekend)

I decided to go with the 8" wheel over the 9". The sales guy agreed with my decision. I think a 235 tire on a 9" wheel would be too stretched for my tastes. Since I'm going for the straight up/down look, if not a little meaty, the 235 will look nice on a 8". Who knows, maybe I'll try a 245 at some point. I'll probably end up getting spacers for the rears once I see how the new wheels fit. If the weather doesn't delay FedEx, I should have the new wheels mounted on Saturday. I'll be sure to post pics as soon as I can.

I just took an E46 330ci in on trade and it had the 18" E46 M3 wheels on it with decent tire tread left. If anyone wants them, I'll do an even swap for any 3 series wheels that'll fit the car. I'll be around all day tomorrow since I know a lot of you will be off with this snow, let me know!

Nice dude I'm sure you'll be happy with that setup, definitely sounds like it will look beefy. Can't wait to see it.
