Measured the runout of the wheels and tires properly today instead of visually. Using the screwdriver reference point trick I checked both front tires are perfect. Only one front wheel seems to have a bit of a bend to the outside of the outer rim, probably about 1/8in.
Both rear tires have from 1/8 to 9/64 out of round measuring the diameter. Wheels are perfectly round. Don't buy cheap Atlas tires. Idk what was causing them to look so wobbly on the rear yesterday. |

SOS error was really bothering me, so I had to go code it out.
and code the CIC discalimer away and change it to my external sdars. and code angel eyes as DRL and led bulb warnings and such too. I [prpobably should have backed all those up before I default wrote them with a new VO. |

I need to do this too. The Combox has been in the basement for 3 years since I did the CIC retrofit.

It will fit without extending wires, you have to cut the bracket and turn it about 30 degrees and mount it again. I put all the wires directly into the new combox connector. |

Replaced all rear windshield weather stripping which was much needed. The process was really easy! No hiccups at all. Also added a rear windshield spoiler. Very happy about that. Hopefully the sagging in the center goes away but if not oh well. Either way the rear end definitely needed it, it was looking rather bare.

I installed a new shift knob (m performance one). I decided to wrap the silver sides in the dark brushed aluminum to match my interior trim.
I'm thinking about an alcantara boot, maybe to change it up a little. I have to say it looks good Last edited by mapleleaf1773; 07-13-2021 at 02:28 PM.. |

started cleaning up the combox retrofit.
If you don't want to buy all the connectors and stuff to make a harness, you just need the one connector for the combox. Repin all the wires into it. Then remove the shrouds from the coax GSM antenna wires and they'll fit. The USB and GPS ones plug right in. Remove the stud to the left of the combox that was for a harness stand and cut off the upright that protudes. then slide it over so that the right side is now on the used to be left side studs. done. I still need to clean up that harness at the top, but I'm out of friction tape and homie don't play electrical tape. I have also misplaced the nuts for the studs, but you get the idea. The white connector was old TCU and I've left it because there's still wires in it that were unused and that's a fine place to leave them forever so they don't cause issue. Yes, I have used hot glue to secure the cell antennas. not like they matter anymore. I also stuck the colored connector shrouds behind them just so I know which ones they were originally. but, combox securely mounted and wires are all below the floor so it will be fine. |

Washed it for the first time in weeks (weather here is supposed to be good now for a week or so) then got stung by a wasp when cleaning the engine bay. Little buggers!

Another roadtrip - GA to Orlando and back. Did it in 5 hrs, 40 min each way.
Averaged 27 mpg on the highway - and I did NOT do 65 mph… Totally stock, by the way. 134K miles, original water pump & index 7 injectors. Crazy, I know... |

I have decided that trying to slide on rainy roads is still, definitely, not worth the embarrassment. Open diff had my line from '(' to 'S' if that makes sense. Anyways, here's a pic or two

well that's much improved. You can see I still need to do the panels above the struts.
I've had those out and they've been cleaned underneath, but I don't think those plastic pieces are ever surviving another go at removal and installation. |
