How many of you r amazed how the 335 is capable of 400+hp and still puts out 30-33 mpg on the highway at reasonable speeds.

I'd like to think I'm already 6-7 years into this one. Sure people change but so does life. If your expectations and the way you handle these kinds of situations goes from being flexible and understanding to "why are you shitting on my life?" things will probably go down hill pretty quickly.

I came from a broken home where I sat and watched my parents go at each other verbally like 2 rabid dogs over some of the DUMBEST shit I can think of. Hell, she might even kick in a little of her own $ just to see me happy. Point is we've been managing money together for a few years now and it seems to work, we both have the same outlook on where it should go and where it should be saved. If we try to keep up with each others views and priorities this is a HUGE potential fight that can be avoided on a daily basis.

You want to call me naive, go ahead. Truth is I'd rather be than to think this is the curse we are all doomed to fall into with our wives (or in Gary's case "Life Partners") at one point or another. I just ask you Al, are you really that upset about only this or was this just the one of many straws that broke your back? If so, the issue is a lot deeper rooted than how she thinks you should spend your money.

Knowings someone and living with someone for a long time are two completely different things. You can love the death out of someone and they can be awesome 95% of the time, but its amazing how little shit can get under your skin and undermind everything. And when something big has been said or done, its several magitudes harder to get over.

Seth - you already know the answer to your question. The car issue is soooooo unimportant other than it is a symptom of greater issues.

Anyway...I am admittedly more grumpy in that I got a ton of projects all hitting at the same time and I can't seem to catch my breath in addition to a bigger contract that would give me a $20k/year bump keeps coming and going...coming and going...seemingly like every day...I'm not sleeping, I'm not sleeping in my bed, and I'm old.

But I am still sexy, so I've that going for me. Plus smoking reds makes me sound cool!!!!
