Well.....
when you go back home.......
I know 26 mph over the speed limit cost me 400+ and a days wages.
There are more people killed in accidents in Montana now vs no limit.

Sticking to Canada this time around due to the transaction of my new place in bc, I just want to be easily accessible and have local banks near by. Was tempting to go into Montana however.

Sad that the government will never make use of those statistics from before and after the speed limit changes. But it's definitely a sleepy state at the speed limit.

The thing about Canada and the way back is that 90% of the time you will be a day away from a bank that you can use. I think there are more cities on the way back in the US but if it is the bank you need then :/
I'm just trying to get you to spend your money in the US ;-)

Went to go visit a castle last weekend. Weather wasn't ideal for the good shots though.

Understatement defined.

A good CPL filter would have cleared that right up.

The us is much cheaper to drive through as well. Food, lodging and gas are all cheaper.

And I suspect I'm not going to see as many interesting things going through Canada

While I'm crossing Manitoba I'm supposed to see a potential of 6" of snow

Could be interesting, glad I'm in a jeep with winter tires and chains in the trunk (not likely to need)

Your route:

Edit: Went to go watch the dueling on the bay today.

Nice shot Kevin, and what a great day for it! I was teaching at a seminar in Jack London Square yesterday, and all I saw were hundreds of lucky fans getting on the ferry to take the boat over to the afternoon Giants game. I was so jealous, and I am not even a Giants fan!

That said, it's still fun to watch the trains go right down the Embarcadero in Jack London...

Always making time for trains? "Hold on class, I'll be back in 10 minutes!"
Wrong garage... edit

This guy shared the viewing platform with me overlooking a marsh at my local park. He didn't seem to phased by my presence.
