So far so good. Seems to be working well for my needs which is mostly for redundant storage (I set it up with 4 WD Reds 3TB on a RAID 10) and I also use it as a little surveillance server for my 2 foscams in addition to streaming my ripped movies off it. However if you want to do more and/or want to do heavy streaming I would probably go with the 451 or 453 with an Intel CPU and more RAM.

However for my needs the 431 seems to be working fine.

Funny story. I went to Harbor Freight to buy that same jack, but I couldn't lift the damn thing off the shelf without a lot of effort. I ended up buying the compact aluminum one instead because it was the only jack I could lift easily. This was 1 year ago. Fast forward 1 year and I can't think of a single time I actually had to pick up my jack since I took it out of my trunk. There's a reason it's called a floor jack.

EDIT: How is it even possible that you have more reps than posts?

So, was the small jack 1.5ton was a better jack for you?
The Jack I am about to get is actually this jack. The same one but low profile.

my bad.

The rep point. Oh lol. There was a joke thread "joke of year competition" and "joke of the day" thread. That is where I accumulate 8+ rep pts off of a each thread.

No, I don't like my 1.5 ton compact jack that much. Even though it's compact, the minimum lifting height is 3.5" which is too high to fit under my rear jack point. The maximum height is only 14" which isn't high enough to reach the jack point if I drive the car up my ramps so I can't lower the car back down onto jack stands. The low profile one you linked would work much better due to the increased range of lifting height.

So, I did buy the low profile 3ton, and it was heavy as hell. I would recommend 2 people carry this. My shoulder feels weird now.
Didn't assemble it yet.
