Good to hear, people these days would have driven to the other side of the parking lot if you were nowhere to be seen.

But, I get a lifetime warranty on the parts through fcpeuro. How hard of a diy is that? Should I just let my mechanic order the parts or should I order them off fcp?

He also said the OFHG is starting to seep where the OFH meets the block. He said it's nothing crazy. I don't see any oil anywhere.

PO had the OFHG done 8k miles ago in 2018. That's crazy if it's already leaking a little.
How are you going from washing it to new wheel bearing ? I don’t get it. So unusual.

$3200?!

Hit a HUGE milestone today.

And took a 2021 BMW X7 Xdrive 40i on trade yesterday. Guy traded it in for a 2016 Camaro SS.

We have it listed for $85,900. 16k miles.

update: nvm we have Iisted at $79,990+$3,995 pro-pack. So technically, we have it listed at $83,985

Experienced an odd (random) surging on the highway last night, almost as if the transmission was slipping. It felt similar to the 2-1 downshift except it wasn't.. Shifting. Thinking the solenoids and mechatronic seals I was planning on replacing will be sooner than I thought

In other news, the burger tuning paddle shift kit came in stock again so I ordered that as well as the NRW V1 Paddle Shift Kit. Just need to order a new wheel wrap and my spare wheel will be ready for install!

I got my wheels (style 397) cleaned up today and new valve stems in. All 4 wheels look this good, great deal I got. I also ordered 4 new continental extreme contact dws 06 plus tires to go with them. The tires will be in next week. I'm super excited.

Went on another drive today. 3/4 tank in 24 hours isn't something I used to especially at $4.00 a gallon lol. It didn't do the weird sputtering so that's good.

The difference between coolant temp and oil temp hit 40° today, was pretty impressed at that! Way to go CSF

For one thing it's NJ, everything is expensive, but on top of that it was a fairly big job. New hood, bumper repaired even the "preexisting damage", even filled in the old licence plate screw holes. All repainted and because of the metallic silver it had to be blended onto the fenders, which got a full respray so the whole front end has been replaced/repaired and painted. This was supposed to be my daily driver that lives outside, now that part looks better than my 330, I wouldn't have done it on my own but with some1 elses insurance paying I don't mind the cost

Flashed back from stage 0 to stage 2+ after passing emissions with catless DPs w/o a DP fix (no bribes or shady deals—thank you AZ!), flashed xHP stage 2–man that's buttery in D and more fun in sport/manual!

What aftermarket cooler did you go with? Looks like a perfect fit. B&M?

Go Stage 3! I tried 2 at first for about 50 miles of city driving and it was great. Tried Stage 3 after and never looked back.

Headlight went out a few days ago after some hard rain. Did some troubleshooting today to determine bulb, ballast, etc.

Just flashed my e90 with Stage 3 XHP with a few custom touches. Shifts super fast in Drive. Haven't tried Sport or Manual modes yet. Slightly firmer shifting but still smooth. Will give update after 50mi break in. Adaptations may change and go back to normal feel.

I bought this kit mostly because of the bracket it came with. It's nice but a tight fit still and I had to make some very slight modifications to get the fitment to be perfect perfect. The hoses were too short for my application and very difficult to assemble so I bought hoses and fittings from jegs. Here's the link to the kit: https://www.ebay.com/itm/FOR-BMW-3-S...-127632-2357-0

Best of luck with the headlights, my sister had to get her FRM replaced to get hers to work again. I used to get condensation from time to time in mine so I stuffed a TON of these in the headlight and it's actually worked well: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M7V19JE...UTF8&psc=1

Installed an oil filter housing from a 2011 135i along with a universal 19 row oil cooler behind the kidney grilles. BMW didn't start installing factory oil coolers and upgraded oil filter housings until '08 I believe. Lucky me, mine's a 2007...

Also topped off the AC with a shot of refrigerant.

Wheel looks great! I have to comment on the tire choice.

No flame meant. But the Conti DWS 06+ is an old tire design now. The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 is a much better tire for sport driving. The PS A/S 4 is a recent redesign release of the A/S 3 and offers far better steering feel and road feel. The Conti is just numb. I just switched last month to the Michelin PS A/S 4 on both my E90 and E46 Cabrio. The E90 was coming off of Yokohama Advan Sport AS (my 3rd set on that car - I really liked the Yoks) and the E46 Cabrio was coming off Continental DSW 06+. I've had the Conti DSWs on my E90 as well and like on the E46, they just make the chassis numb as compared to the Mitchies. I've been running Michelin PS A/S 3's on both my Z4 Coupe and my wife's ancient Z3 Roadster for the past 5 years. The A/S 3 was a great tire too.

Just offering an opinion.

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

Yea I almost went PS 4. Michelins never disappoint. The Continentals have treated me right in the past. Point noted on the steering, that is disconcerting. I guess we will see, they have been shipped. I have read they take a little time to break in too, reviews - everyone has different experiences, hard to tell what will happen to you.

I appreciate you sharing your experience man

+1

I've been happy with my AS4's besides the fact that they were a bitch to balance and it took several tries and two shops to get it right.

My Continental Extreme Sports had a bit more grip, and were quieter but they were also dedicated summer performance tires. The Michelins were cheaper, will be better for 3 season use (I have dedicated snows) and hopefully last longer.
