Well guys my directv dream was shortlived. Turns out that my apartment complex will not allow it

I think I would rather buy a house and get directtv than support comcast at this point.

I used to be an F1 fan, until it got too complicated. I pine for the irvine/schumacher versus the hakkinen/coulthard days.

Is there a bar that shows it around here?

+1, I used to be a big fan back in the early/mid 90s, but it just got so boring. I have heard it's better these days, but I never really got back into it. Could be fun to watch at the bar though

Not sure. Your best bet would probably be the Brit's pub on Nicollet. I bet they'll have it on as Lewis Hamilton is competing for the championship.

The Schumacher era was boring as hell and I almost gave up watching F1 too. The last 3-4 years have been really interesting though.. the cars are much more closely matched and the focus is back on driving rather than strategy - thanks to some of the rules they changed such as having a single tire manufacturer, no refueling during the race etc etc.

Well the forecast for Saturday is changing from rain to snow! Given that and the predicted temp drops next week, it might be time for winters

HPFP Hangout Tomorrow Night?

Hi Guys,

So my HPFP is beyond its' last leg. Instead of putting my car back to stock and bringing it into the dealer to have the techs get all of the bolts stripped and fenders scratched, I've decided to just pay the $220 for the new pump and put it in myself....most likely tomorrow afternoon/night. If anyone wants to come over play mechanic with me you're more than welcome. I'm expecting it to take 1-2 hours working slowly. If anybody else's pump is going out we could do both in a night!

Cheers

Let's pay tribute to the Midwest's weather effect on cars.

POST A PICTURE OF YOUR CAR NEXT TO THE MOST RUSTY AUTOMOBILE THAT YOU COME ACROSS. THE CAR MUST STILL BE RUNNING, SO JUNKYARD PHOTOS WON'T COUNT. (Post an additional photo or two to really highlight the rust if necessary)

We will review the pictures the last week of November and pick the winner. I guess the winner will get to pick December's

I hope everyone participates!

Good Luck,

Hahaha omg, I am totally gonna post pics of my co-worker's old rusty VW cabrio. It's such a POS lol!

Time to start the mods...???

Anvar....????? I saw this over on M3Post and thought it would look great on an IB M3....

Eisenmann Race Exhaust System 2200 Miles!

Hey Everyone,
Up for grabs is an Eisenmann Race rear section with custom bent connecting pipes for the e92 M3. It has been on the car for around 2200 miles and is in perfect condition. It was removed today and replaced with a full gintani catless sport system. Nothing wrong with eisenmann race, it is by far the best sounding exhaust paired with the S65 V8, however it was just too loud with a catless x pipe. The muffler by itself with a stock x pipe or even an aftermarket x pipe with HFC is not too loud at all and is great for daily driving. (no drone to me and only a little drone to those who are very sensitive.)
The best way to describe this exhaust on your car would be a symphony. My I paid $3000 for this exhaust brand new and now I need to sell it

So, my loss is your gain, pick this up local for $2000.00 Cash. FIRM.

Located in Beverly Hills.

We can also work something out for shipping.

Hahahhah I did see that one too Reed. I still contend that it is a sin to not let the V8 sing with a nice axleback upgrade!

I am hoping for a ride in Joe's car tomorrow to make a decision I think. He has an Eisennmann race as well. I've heard it from the outside, but would like to hear it from the cabin as that is where I will be most of the time. I really like the Meisterschaft GT2 though.

So I see that you've gotten over the two fake tips with the Dinan exhaust eh?
