What is the advantage of going with the M3 rear strut conversion? more travel? I mean, I know I could search but being spoon fed it just tastes better.

Those look absolutely sick.

Thanks.

Gets rid of the deflection from the strut sitting on the rubber bushing in the non-M LCA. The M struts have the eyelet at the bottom, which mount directly to the arm.

Thanks for the info. Something to keep in my when I play with my suspension.

What do you guys think about $250 for a full interior & exterior detail? fair? I have to go back to my local place only because they are so damn convenient and fit me in in a moments notice. I normally just have them do the exterior and I do the interior myself but I'm busy as fuck.

I don't trust anyone detailing, but that's just me. Personally, I'd stick to reputable places like Unique Car Care or Driven Perfection. If that hack with the crusty wrapped E90 can start a detailing business, anyone can.

Yeah, I mean if you can detail anyone can

Spent the afternoon on Saturday with my brother doing a full exterior detail. Wash, paint cleaner, clay bar and then wax.

I used the Meguiars Meguiar's M26 Hi-Tech Yellow Wax. Pretty incredible stuff. Might be the best wax I've used. Comes off pretty easily, and leaves a really long lasting, deep finish.

Before that I was all about the deep crystal. Didn't last that long, but looked great.

The claybar and cleaner though, wow. What a difference! Car looks fantastic. Hard to believe she's north of 80k.

Next weekend, I'll clean the interior, and do some leather cleaning and conditioning.

I said goodbye to the clay bar and bought the nanoskin wash mitt. No going back. Expensive, but the whole car is done and perfect in way less time.

E92 1st maintenance in 1.5 years of ownership.

Brake fluid flush
alignment due to hitting something and losing a tire
lca bushings replaced as one was shot other leaking
oil change as I was in there
e brake adjusted

$750

Sucks. I didn't have to do anything other than the alignment but I said fucking it while it was in there just do it all.
