Where do you bmw experts stand on scoops in the kidney with a DCI? Doesnt help at all, helps maybe decrease intake temps 10-15 degrees (1 or 2% hp bump at high speeds), or Jesus Christ James, you dont have scoopes yet you dumb fuck?

This topic comes up every few months it seems. The DCI's get pretty hot under the hood. The scoops help cool them off on the highway. IMO, I noticed better response with them on.
I am hesitant on getting these for the M3 though |

Well a tune is by far the best bang for your buck for HP at around 9-10$ a hp, so $40 bucks for scoops, a lowly 4hp bump would be awesome, right?

-Tune ($10/hp) -DP's ($30-35/hp) -Intake ($40/hp) -Intercooler ($45/hp) -Exhaust ($100-$200/hp) |

Yea, right in line with my estimates (actually had this calc in my mods excel file) but for the intake, I say $21 for a $105 DCI giving 5 hp and tq.
