Nice! Should be a decent day on Saturday. Where you planning to install yours at?
My buddy's work. Its a heated warehouse. Going to lift my car with 2 forklifts. Sounds and looks SUPER shady, but we've done it multiple times in the past and its pretty damn stable.

Good luck with your install! Post pics when you get it on!

Hey at least there is plenty of space and heated.

Any interest in having a meet in the evening? I believe Th3xf4ctor is planning to come help me with the install. pwr hungry I know you said you were probably busy until 4 but if you want to meet up after let me know. I'm definitely going to want to take the care out after the exhaust is on, haha.

I'm not familiar with the M exhausts, but since it's a slip on, you're going to have to cut your factory exhaust, correct?

No cutting needed fortunately it's multiple pieces. On th M exhaust there are clamps after the xpipe that just need to be disconnected.

That might be a possibility - assuming we get it done in a timely manner!

Still had that cold start 1100 to 600 idle drop/shake this morning though, I'm guessing it's the injectors.
I would get it to the dealer asap. Keep me updated on what the outcome is.

I stopped by Turn In Concepts today to talk to Kent and get my walnut blast scheduled. If you have not yet been there and plan on getting a walnut blast or any other work done I highly suggest stopping by. Great shop and great prices.

Took about 10 hours, but I finally got my VRSF catless downpipes and Active Autowerke Signature Exhaust on.

I'm hearing some raspiness around 2500 RPMs at certain throttle positioning. Guess thats what I get for going completely catless and resonator-less. Its going to take some getting used to, I think.

I'm finally getting my car back from the shop this week, new performance exhaust and the performance aero kit. (Took about 4 weeks to get the kit from Germany).

It sounds like a monster. But I still want to get resonators installed...the raspiness kills the "BMW refinement" for me lol

How did your install go? What exhaust were you installing anyway?

Well, priority one was to change the oil and then I ran out of time to attempt the exhaust install by myself. Figured I'd wait until I have an extra set of hands around.

Called the dealer today, injectors were done under the original bulletin. Currently have the ones with part number ending in 5261, not the newest ending in 6079. I'm going to keep looking for symptoms/solutions before I shell out the cash for new injectors or waste an entire day with the local dealership.

I should have looked into warranty injectors before going single... I'm not looking forward to buying new ones when the time comes :/
