Curious Hubba, where you are staying. We have liked the La Valencia (easy to chose because Lauren's grandfather owned it). The Sunday brunch at the LV is divine.

We’re staying at La Jolla Cove. They have some rooms that have been remodeled recently, and are very nice. It was a go to spot for my family vacations when I was a kid, and Mrs H and I have kept up that tradition.

He owned LaV??? Wow, very cool. I’ve never stayed there, but have wandered through and also had the pleasure of dining there many times. It’s a beautiful property.

Congratulations LJ. I figured you might be the somebody that would get it.

We went to a wedding in Ann Arbor this past weekend and had time to kill before our flight. What an amazing museum. Whatever expectations I had, this place wildly exceeded them.

Yep that's correct Gary! Was visiting Japan some time back for a holiday and found this gem of a spot in Nagoya whilst driving around. Highly recommend.

If it's a smoke plume on top, then it's a volcano. Palm trees indicate a possible tropical area. Name: confused.gif
