Thanks Jeff, it all make sense once I started installing. I like it a lot! I can see how tuning can get addictive

There will be two stage 2 map flavors. Stage 2 which will have a little more power than stage 1 and the downpipe CEL removal requiring a TBE (Turbo Back Exhaust). Stage 2 + FMIC will require a TBE and FMIC with a heavy suggestion on a good intake. The Stage 2 + FMIC is what I have been working on above.

***Keep in mind everyone, the power numbers are not yet set. This is only what I have been running. They could go up or down.

Thanks for the info Rob

Would I be able to get away with running stage 2 + FMIC.. with cattless 3" DP's and maintaining the stock midpipes and mufflers?
I want to maintain the stock mids and mufflers to keep the decibels as close to stock as possible.
I'm pretty sure quite a few others are in the same boat...

In all seriousness, if I can squeeze out 400-410 whp on 93 pump with a Cobb AP, goodbye meth kit. they're a pain in the ass sometimes.
i've always thought that catless DP's was NOT "stock exhaust".

i won't even do that..........too scared lol.....

Will this remove the top speed limiter as well?

I believe the current maps already have the top speed limiter defeated.

How many miles does your clutch have on it? My car is a MT and doesnt experience any slippage.

I'm obviously in the minority, but I will be sending back my tuner today. The tune is definitely noticeable, but the AT shifts feel way too sloppy. The shifts are not crisp. They feel like they are always slipping into gear. Don't have this issue stock.

FBO = FULL bolt-ons. If you didn't do the whole exhaust, you don't have FULL bolt-ons...

Maybe I don't unerstand the market, but why did COBB decide to split stage two default maps between TBE and TBE FMIC? Seriously, how many people are going to be TBE without a FMIC?

Meanwhile I thought there are/were more of us with plans of running a lower power but more stealthy variant of stage 2 (1.5) with maybe FMIC Intake. Those people are SOL to realize more gains until ATR/ATP comes out.

Maybe there just wasn't enough gains over stage 1 to justify OOTB development.
I may do FMIC, but I'm not doing TBE.

Hi,
I'm waiting to receive my Cobb AP tomorrow and have already downloaded the AP Manager. After some more reading I came upon Cobb's Map Database.

How do I determine my ECU type? So I can DL the appropriate maps? Or is this done automatically after connecting the Cobb?

Anyone heard any inside info about meth integration? This is a must and it looks like Vishnu has a good head start.
