I guess I could do that a little bit faster now that I have the recaro pole position seats installed (55 lbs savings) + liteblox lightweight battery (50 lbs savings) + rear bench removal (55 lbs savings). If weather permits I will do a retest and hope for 100-200kph in 7.9ish and 60-130mph in 9.2ish?

Custom seat mounts? What style harness?

Do you think the seats gave you a little more headroom? Planning to look into a seating set up at some point to get me a little lower in the car so i can fit with a helmet on and be in a normal driving position.

I had the BMW PPK tune before I got my tune. I did not notice much difference between the PPK and Cobb stage 1 sport (my starting point with PTF as I had stock engine and 91 octane gas), but I got a definite and significant power boost going from Cobb stage 1 to PTF custom tune.
How does the PTF tune work? Did they do it in person on dyno or was it done remotely?

It's been a bit of a delay respectfully not on PUREs end. Hoping to see them sometime next week. Will definitely still post up pics when they come in.

Remotely, unless you want to go to Toronto to have it done in person.

I was able to buy them 2nd hand. The guy that sold them only drove 1200 miles with them. They were installed in his E90 M3.

The package contained macht schnell floor mounts, recaro sliders and steel recaro side mounts. I know alu one save another few pounds but the black steel ones fit better with the interior. Also the floor mounts fitted perfectly in my F series car.

I only connected the seatbelt sensor to the cars seat connector. The other things like occupancy mat sensor and seat airbags gave errors that i was able to code out. I am using stock seatbelts since its my daily car. Getting in and out of the car is a tad more difficult but np once you get used to it. They sit very comfortable and give much better sideways support.

I verified with Jesse and F series inlet is a different part and also restrictive. Not sure if he has any inlet ready for F series. If not i guess i have to run stage2's with stock inlet for a while.

Seats are great btw. I will post up some pics after the weekend

Looks great! I might have to put some in my car. I'm going to code out my seat mat sensors today at work. I'm tired of the chime every time someone takes their seat belt off in my car.

I got it for 800 euros excluding vat. I did a battery reset with tool32 software. So far all is good. It gets fully charged in a 45 minute drive. We have around 30f here lately and even in the cold it starts fine.

I ordered a stage 1 and an inlet pipe from Pure today. Now I'm wondering if I should replace the LPFP too. I'm interested in knowing how much E85 you guys are running with the Pure stage 1, and how the stock LPFP handles it. At what point does the stock LPFP become a limiting factor with this turbo (E30, E50, ?)?

Darkhold,
Do you have a fuel-it LPFP? How long have you had it, what kind of fuel are you running with it, and how do you like it? Do you think the stage 2 LPFP is a good match for the stage 1 Pure turbo?

Thanks,
Robert

Hi Robert,

I have been running meth injection since before I had the pure stage1. This assists fuelling. After a while I decided to start using ethanol mix in my fuel and came to the following conclusion for my F series car:
- I can run E35 mix with meth injection and max out pure turbo (20 psi)
- I can run E35 mix without meth and run pure turbo at 17 psi. Then fuelling becomes an issue --> So I installed Fuel-IT stage2 LPFP but the issue remains. It turns out my HPFP can't flow enough.

I see you have a 2011 car. So you have a different design HPFP pump that does flow a bit more. I am running the Fuel-IT LPFP since end of October without any issue. However it does not help my HPFP pump limit However Fuel-IT is making a HPFP addon solution that requires stage2 LPFP. So I am going with that once I have the pure stage2 turbo on the car.

I think you need E40/E50 (mixed with 93) to get sufficient octane to run pure at max boost. Do you want to run max boost all the time? I don't think so. So in your case I would just start with E20/E30 and start upping the boost (start at 16 psi and work your way up) and log everything. Investigate the logs and if all is good up the boost further. See where you get and once you find a limit you can think about upgrading fuel system.

Hope this helps.

Greetz,
Peter

Darkhold, any more info on the Fuel It HPFP upgrade? Their ethanol sensor and HPFP upgrade would be awesome together! I can't wait to run E85 in my car and not have to mix.
