Because the cluster is already displaying outside temp on the upper screen and the lower screen is used for car info.

Adjusting it via cluster is only to correct it on the radio.
It is normal.

StageFP tune installed. Noticeable, if not dramatic increase in performance and throttle response.

Should I consider anything other than a stock bumper replacement (E91 btw)?

Got my quote from Allstate today. They call for "repair" of the bumper rather than replacement . My body guy says they're actually pretty good to work with once it's in the shop and he can explain repair is not possible.

I sure would hope repair isn't "possible" and you get an M sport or aero package bumper out of it

TBH I'd be overwhelmed if I had to deal with turbos, Auto trans, AWD, active steering, etc. Glad to give up a bit of gogo to be able to do it all myself (and like it).
Is access really that easy on it? Even with the AC compressor in place?

TBH I don't find the N54 cars that much harder to work on than the N52. Yes it has 2 extra turbos down there but its pretty compact and most are quick connections if you've gotta remove. Also being manual+sport/M-sport the factory oil/air cooler is the better option

That being said Its a manual rwd N54 compared to a Manual rwd N52; I'm sure auto and awd throw a bunch more shit in your way

I don't know how much harder it is to get in there behind turbos than the NA TBH. I guess "easy" is a bit strong, but It wasn't so hard that I didn't go back and do it on both my E90s. I'm imagining a lot less tight. I know for a fact the AWD and AT cars have a lot less room to work underneath, enough so that I don't want to work on them for fun.

So I installed my paddle shift steering wheel today.. Both upshift and downshift honk the horn. Am I missing something?

LOL!

Did you connect the small ground wire to the steering wheel?

Well, I take that back lol. Only upshifts honk the horn (including the gear selector ). Downshifts do nothing. Other than that, no gear changes via paddle

Ground is connected, and yes it sounds quite good

I've done some light research on it, could be some loose wires related to the multifunction buttons

Edit: Problem solved, the airbag pinched two of the left paddle wires. "Unpinched" them, blew into all connectors, and straightened out the multifunction button wires going into the housings

Sorry I should have been more clear, Ill be changing this pipe on the 328 to add the water/water cooler. Subframe will still be up and wondering if I can do it with the waterpump still in place.

The N54s don't have this pipe at all(its in a totally different place)

Put this temporary holster in. I like it more than I thought I would... might just keep it this way.

I bet your kids are exceedingly well behaved riding in the back of your car.

Haha yeah no kids for me yet. And yeah I always keep hands on the steering wheel, even if I don't have a fire arm in the car.

Yeah I'm pretty sure downpipes have to come off to do that on the N54, at least when I helped ab987 replace his turbos for the first time I didn't see a way to get to it otherwise.

It doesn't seem too bad on the n52, I guess relatively speaking, that side of the block is thankfully pretty bare. Still a pain though.

Haha yeah it's never a bad idea. Better to have it, and not need it than to need it and not have it. I especially wanted to get that holder after I watched the movie Unhinged lol.
