Removed a 2' piece of wood somehow jabbed itself through one of the splash guards... I had no clue how it got there, but when I was skipping through my MP3s, I just heard the sound of something dragging.

Hey all,
Things have been solid mechanically but Some ******* tweaker busted my passenger window out and took my Driver side cup holder, my floor mats, and idk why but they cut the passenger seat belt and took the male hook end. Like wtf seriously. I replaced my window and ordered a new cup holder. Just have to order new mats and see about what it's gonna take to replace the seat belt. Stay safe!! Got lucky. She still pulls hard so I'm happy.

VRSF chargepipe, Tial BOV and a 7 inch VRSF monster FMIC. Data logged my most aggressive Cobb ATR map and was very impressed with the results. Clean on timing corrections, no throttle closures, AFR 12.5-12.79 at 180+ load. Very impressed with how cool my intake temps were, 50 degrees out, at idle after hard pulls only saw 73 IAT, wow!

I was looking for info like this. I had a road trip to nj this weekend, 50f outside, iats were 64, while cruising at 75mph. Expected better?
7" vrsf.

Thanks to e90post I learned about using the spare tire from an E60 for my E90. Went to local junkyard and got myself a whole set including jack and lug wrench. Piece of mind!

Also finally got my car tinted. Llumar ctx 30 all around. I'll post pics later

My more recent logs, 30 deg ambient had higher IAT's then today at 50+. Maybe I'm wrong but my thoughts are 20+ degree lower temps is strong. Also, four logs, all in succession, the IAT's look the same, again, pretty strong.

Changed oil using Shell Rotella T6 and added a Dimple magnetic drain plug. Re-gapped my NGK 5992's at 0.20, detailed the engine bay, vacuumed the interior, and washed it.

Took my car in to Turner to get new KONI's installed all the way around, new mounts and some other little bits. Pick her up tomorrow, yay.

Tried to figure out where this sound is coming from. Really hard to locate. Alternator?

I have an appointment tomorrow but I wish I had some idea now. Any ideas?

Starts at ~1100 RPM and the whine stays consistent at any RPM above that.

Not when kidding when I say that I had the exact same whine. BMW looked over my car for DAYS and could not replicate the noise. While it was at the shop they changed my Oil because it was coming due. Apparently the noise was caused by a bent up oil filter. The noise is pretty much gone now and the only noise i'm really hearing atm is a vacuumy noise but i'm thinking it is just the tensioner/belt. Like the other member earlier, I was 100% sure it was coming from the oil filter housing. Worth a check.

Same thing happened to me. I have no idea how but i had a half scissors stuck into the rear passenger splash guard. I kept hearing a dragging noise when taking sharp left turns and going over speed bumps. Despite of driving 75mph for 40 miles it never came loose. I got lucky it didn't stick into the tire instead.

Last two days: drove it from Fort Worth TX to Hampton VA, 1400 miles. Car ran awesome, had to reset the iDrive once, otherwise no issues. Well other than semi's throwing rocks up from the disintegrating concrete outside Memphis and the mother of all potholes in Little Rock. Had to wash it off real quick when I was done though, driving through all the rain had shmagged up the windows and mirrors so bad I could barely see through them.

Looked at it in the garage with the top down. Sunny and mid 60's here. Rain this weekend.

Also glad I don't need to have winter tires to deal with here............
