They didnt provide any reason, and then didnt respond to my follow up emails so....
I'm guessing its because I put a lot of care into putting the car together and its not a janky/rusty/poorly assembled shitbox as so many of those BaT cars are. |

If the answer is "we just moved 2 E91's and have 3 more in the queue, check in with us in a few months" then thats pretty reasonable IMO. |

The market seems to be about the same that is has been for the past year or two. When sellers know what they have, from my obeservation the breakdown has looked something like this:
Sport package cars and premium color combos (rare doesn't equal desirable) seem to fall in the higher ranges of the bands. Mods don't really seem to make much difference in the sale price. There are of course deals to be found and exceptions, I recall an accident repaired but still clean titled 6MT Le Mans listed for $21k or something that sold in 24 hours. I think there are more buyers out there than sellers, but most buyers seem ready to wait to find a good deal. I personally paid on the higher end but found a car with exactly the options I wanted along with a full maintenance history. It takes the right buyer to come along though. Banks and credit unions won't finance the higher end of the spectrum, for example 22k on the BaT car. It has to be a cash or 50% cash buyer because on paper these cars aren't anything special to insurance companies, which limits your pool of buyers. Generally I think the lower mileage cars are holding value but some of the higher mile cars are slipping. There have been a few listings of nice cars that just aren't selling quickly and have 80-100k on them. I'm still holding out for a second wagon, a pre-LCI 6MT in red. I've expanded my search to include 6MT E83's though since I want something I can treat more as a beater and not feel guilty if it catches a ding or scratch. |

Didn't see this one mentioned previously - has anyone checked it out? Seems too good to be true.

Just how much does the manual effect value? I know its a big deal, but 5k? 10k? I just got a pretty good deal on a loaded Msport xdrive auto with 38k miles and will decide whether to keep it long term or sell it.

If it was a 15 year old Toyota SUV, they would have jumped all over it (yes I am a little salty they turned down my e46 wagon late last year).

+1, I am really curious what is a reasonable price difference? Or what should we expect to pay private party?

Keep it and swap the transmission. That's what I would do if I was in your shoes, depending on the interior color. If it's tan or grey interior sell it now while it's easier due to the low mileage.
