BS? Nonsense! It is TOTALLY Normal how obsessed I am with keeping my car looking good!

On that note... I was backing out of my garage last night and we had a friend over who was driving a Toyota SUV... definitely wasn't paying attention (nor was I heeding my backup sensors) and back the M RIGHT into her front bumper.

Damage? Lets just say Toyota 1... BMW 0.

There is a nice discoloration on my bumber and some paint and cracking. Can't really notice from far, but up close (which is where I usually am) you most definitely can see it. Would need a new bumper to fix it. Of course there is basically no damage to the SUV.

Needless to say, it ruined my entire night and I am still fuming over it. I hate it when stuff happens to your car... it is even worse when its your own dumb fault!

Aw that sucks man! I had a similar incident with the 1 where I cut the corner too close getting into my garage and I dented my rear driver's side fender. Cost me $1700 to get fixed. Hagen's body shop is your friend. hahahha

The guy's name is Roger Koh and he is based out of Canada. Make sure you get the S250.pet kit for $117 (without shipping). I mistakenly got just the S250 kit for $80 (shipping included) and only when it arrived did I realize that it didn't have prep 7.7 which would be essential for removing the shine from my steering wheel .

For you though Brian (assuming you've kept your leather in good shape), you might be ok with the S250 kit. You are welcome to use mine if you want.

Yup, it took quite a few weeks, but got it installed back in September. Haven't had a reason to use it yet though!

haha, I know I regard my car related OCD as completey normal to me too. Most people just don't get why I clean around my wheel nuts with a q-tip unfortunately

The bumper damage sucks. Is it bad enough that you are going to repair it right away, or wait till the winter is over?

2. Vishnu DCI - 50/bo

3. Rear fog lamp switch for '07-'08 cars - this was only available in Europe. It's the OEM switch for headlights, fog lights, and rear fogs - direct swap. 70/bo

4. Set of 19" M6 replica wheels in good shape (not excellent). One has peeling clear coat (I have pics). Rear tires have about 2K left on them, fronts are about 40% left. These fit only E92 cars (non M3). 800/bo

I'll be posting this stuff on the main forum sooner or later. Just figured I'd throw it out there.

Nick

Did you pick up a replacement vehicle yet?

I'll definitely wait until winter is over. No sense in getting it fixed when its just going to be sand and salt blasted all winter long...

I'm like a psycho though... My OCD may kick in before then... or I'll have a nervous break down... haha

Oh wow So Sorry to see that Joe. It happens to the best of us, and all of us at some point. Just a bummer.

Reminds me of one time a friend didn't put his e-brake on in my garage, then it rolled back down the driveway, missing my mom's car by inches, and across the street and into the neighbor's yard. Sound familiar to anyone?

Driveways reap havoc on thoughtless mistakes.

I've got em already, otherwise I'd take them off your hands.

Anvar... Give in to the modding. You know you want to.

Thanks for the offer Reed, but I've considered them and I think I like the chrome grills for now.

This was the 1 on the day before I traded it in I believe. I am not sure how it missed Brian's mom's car. It ended up in his neighbour's garden.
