My oil filter had taken the shape of an hourglass. Glad I was able to get that one sorted out. |

Wrapped my interior trim in gloss metallic black, I think it looks great with my saddle brown!
Sorry about the CRAPPY iPhone pics, it was dark out when I finished... Need to invest in a good camera and a new phone lol. P.S. Ignore the plate on the floor... they are coming off the car very soon! BMWCCA plates with "BROK3" going on. |

Gave her a wash.
And found a sh*t ton of blemishes that weren't there before. Black scuffs all along the left rear quarterpanel, some kind of markings on the trunk. Might try to get them off when it's warmer, otherwise it's gonna need a paint. -__- |

Thanks Saadthesav. I love the wheel, but not sure about the trim yet. Might be a little much in combination with the wheel. Eventually I plan to wrap all the rubbery faux-leather parts (airbag, dash, door panels, etc.) with Alcantara. At that point I may opt to go with the OEM Alcantara trim. In the meantime, if I determine that I don't like the saddle trim I may give the X1 trim a try. But I haven't determined that quite yet.

Well, if some of you read up about my past year's trials and tribulations, you know how I got screwed by 2 jobs in a row and being unemployed for a few months... It may be small, but today is the first time I've added a full tank of gas since July 2014 now that I have steady, decent income.

Was busy this week!
Over the last week, got my KW SC's, VRSF wheel spacers, VRSF charge pipe, JB4, BMS DCI, BMW genuine strut bar, ECS trailing arms, and front M3 control arms and wishbone links installed! Also went ahead and got a walnut blasting, changed all the plugs, a faulty coil, a dying tpms sensor, the cabin filter and also flushed my brake fluid. She deserved it all!

A few things this week, actually!
Got my garage floor scheduled. Having it finished and sealed, just so happens they have a white/black/blue chip (very similar to car color). Got my buddies to agree to help me to finish the garage next month; insulating, dry wall, slatwall/board/whatever, hanging new lights, HVAC and a few more plugs. Started my hunt for a secondary vehicle to allow her to sit in her new garage, all manicured and such, to be taken out on date night and when clients are in town. All in all a good few days! |
