It's more like what she did to me, I haven't driven it much in the past two weeks and I was up early today when I started it and it idles rough and the Check Engine Soon light turns on. I had to drive my uncle to a doctors appointment and scanned it afterward, I cleared the codes and it ran well. I did get a "high battery output" two weeks ago, the battery is four years old and tested at 65% when I brought it to get tested at Autozone. I'm preparing myself to buy a new battery if it happens again.

I bought a universal HUD kit from Amazon and put it on the car today.
Works ok. Slight delay in speed signal. Speed is accurate/on point when decelerating. RPM works There’s few options online. I’m going to try out a couple more. Last edited by Serf27; 11-18-2021 at 10:17 PM.. |

Well, time for a new VCG. Had to replace a plug today, it was absolutely covered in oil. Luckily I had a spare

The PO didn’t order that option on the car, it has a body matching cover on it from the factory and no turn signal stalk…

Replaced my friend's VC on his 328i. What a PITA job. But I don't regret one bit helping with it. We learned a lot.

Drain and fill on my GM automatic transmission. Seems smoother on test drive. Refill with maxlife atf. I plan on doing it again soon, then again later with a pan drop and filter replacement.

I retrofitted the CIC system I pulled out of the junkyard into my car about a week ago. I did all plug and play so still have to code the navigation and other nannies but otherwise works perfectly fine. Looks a thousand times better and makes the interior seem much newer.
Issue came with the screen which I thought just had the typical anti glare coating delaminating. However somehow this screen has actually splits or cuts in the LCD. When trying to clean off the anti glare coating I just made the cuts worse and now they're white dead lines in it. The delamination seems a lot more common in CIC than ccc screens
