there are tricks and you really need to know what you're doing, with a 7424 its a little bit easier but yeah def start on your family members cars

dude, you watch and learn. it's part of the process. Pay close attention to procedure, amount of pressure applied, pattern. Judging my Nebster's Detail Collection, Id say your in good hands bro

I just need to get done there to see it do. My main concern is the types of polishes, etc I would need. Also, when to use each type of pad.

that just comes with experience. if anything when you're selecting a pad start with less of a cut and then work that in. if that doesn't do anything after 2 passes you'll know in the future that you would have needed a deeper cut. in general though i would prefer 2 passes of a lighter cutting combo than 1 pass of a medium cut. of course that depends on the condition of the paint etc...

but yeah selection comes with experience

oh and i do a test pannel to see how much paint correction i need to do. that will gauge how much will need to be done to get it flawless - or as close as the paint will let me

Another random thought. Any of you guys have epoxy garage flooring? Or do any of you guys know how to do it? Got a quote last year and it was going to be around $3K. My buddy claims he knows how but not to sure about that. I heard the biggest part is the preparation.
