The front wastegate was the hardest for me. I barely was able to stick both of my hands there and could use only the outer sides of both of my fore fingers to get the line over the nipple. I cut out very little bit of material from the inside of the line so that it would go over the nipple. The rear WG wasn't too bad. I was lying across the engine and managed to slip it on after 20 or so mins. I kept the hardened lines as is, replacing the soft lines on each ends.

Ummm...not sure what you're looking for...the advantage will be that you'll have new fresh lines that may not be frayed or worn down attached to the plastic lines???

I just finished most line replacement. I did replace the some of the hard plastic lines too that go from main vacuum tube to boosters. I still need to do the lines to the turbo. Between new tubes, plugs and coil packs and cleaning valves the car is running smooth and strong again. Now I just have to fix my oil filter housing that started to leak again. It must have came loose when I was leaning to clean valves. Overall happy with replacing vacuum lines though!!

Just ordered twenty feet of blue 3.5mm line from Verocious Motorsports.
If shipped today. So, probably have it by Tuesday. |

I got some silicone vacuum hose but I can squeeze it closed with my fingers easily , it's pretty soft.
Will this be no use ? Do I need a hose that I can't close with my fingers ? |

Great thread!
So no one did this with 3mm hoses? That's the only available hose in Sweden hence with quick and reasonably priced shipping. The company supplying Koenigsegg with hoses claim that 3mm should work just fine. I think so to, I just don't want it to be too hard squeezing them on.. |

Props to you who could reach underneath to change the long green line and long red line (in the diagram).
The long line at the front of the engine I can feel the connection but not pull it of and I would need something really small and sharp to reach and try slicing it open. But still, even if I get it off I don't think I can push it back on. The space is so small!! It is..unsatisfactory..not being able to replace them all to say the least.. The long hose at the back of the engine (i.e close to the wind shield) I can't even feel where it connects to. Also saw now some pictures that some guys replaced some hoses on the drivers side of the engine sort of where the stock air filter box, I need to check that out also. |

The rear turbo line is so easy to do! Just lay over the engine, the nipple there is metal so use some muscle
