shiv, you pull your plugs on a regular basis throughout these high boost sessions just to check up on things as you go?

Shiv, which would one do you prefer: your M3 or your 335?

The m3 isn't mine. It belongs to a good customer of ours. That said, I have a lot of fun with it in the rain when I can enjoy the beautiful chassis. In the dry, it's a bit boring compared to the 335.

Shiv, are you still running the Helix FMIC? If so, how is it holding up at these power levels?

Are you going to be kind and send it over to HPF? I'm watching them on the dyno right now toiling with a MBC, I'm sure you can understand their frustration

Shiv put this kit into production I'm at over 100K on my car and I'm sure my stockies will probably go this year, would be much better to throw this in the some upgraded twins......

We can make the same or easily more power than any upgraded twins with our single at much lower boost and less stress on the engine.

I think this:

HPF is the more 'open' of the two if you will, the Google approach by allowing their parts to be bought individually and their price seems extremely affordable based on what i've read so far, and the Vishnu seems to have a more draconian Apple approach by the likeliness we'll see a higher price point with a all in one package that isn't separable, that is tuned to all the parts in its kit.

So far, from what I can see, I personally like the Vishnu manifold over the HPF and I like the Port Injection intake over what I can see from the Vishnu. I like to leave things stock if I can but I think I'm going to want Port injection. I'm predicting much higher numbers and much sooner even if it isn't the original fuel system design. If I were to bet, I'd say I'd be going HPF assuming all things ended up being equal but right now the Vishnu turbo manifold looks better engineered IMO... But if that even matters in the long run, who knows. Its like going back to turbo'ing my eclipse. Log style or tubular, it really didn't make a big difference, The shit worked for what it was.

Which means that you've probably been on the dyno. We know you wouldn't have posted this information this late in the day if you didn't have anything to announce. We've got your patterns figured out.

My wife is wondering why I keep looking at my phone on Valentines. She's not too pleased. We want numbers and we want them now!

Not quite. Been in the shop replacing harnesses, plugs, tightening bolts, replacing some questionable sensors, etc. Just getting things ready for high power runs. It's also valentines day so productivity is usually in the gutter

But boost control does work beautifully. Almost too well in fact. Just 25% duty cycle is enough to bump base boost pressure of 11psi to 18psi. Might have to put a resistor in the bleed line to make it less effective. Just so we have a more granularity.
