What exactly the difference between these two adapters?

eNBT Retrofit Adapter - Classic

Premium eNBT Retrofit Adapter - with Dynamic Guide Lines and Color Climate Controls menu

Also, do these work with both NBT and NBT EVO?

Hi!

Classic eNBT Retrofit Adapter is the most basic version - it is perfect for E9x and E8x BMWs and will let you add rear-view camera with static guide lines.

If you have E9x or E8x and prefer to have rear-view camera with dynamic guide lines, you will need to get our Premium eNBT Retrofit Adapter.

Premium version will also be your best choice if you have E6x or E7x BMW with on-screen climate controls menu. Premium adapter is the only adapter that offers climate controls menu.

I've purchased the E9x rear view camera retrofit kit for the CIC system and was able to install it successfully. Initially, I've sent you guys an email requesting for assistance and to date, there has yet to be a response.

The camera was not activating initially, but got that resolved after reading through the pdf document thoroughly to code it. After it being coded and working, I've tested this out a few times and it's activating while in [R] most of the time. However, there is a bit of a delay for the camera to activate when going into [R], taking as long as 2-3 seconds, sometimes the camera or even my stock PDC doesn't even activate, which my stock PDC does activate 100% of the time prior to installing the kit.

Any advice on this?

Hello. I will be retrofiting NBT to my 2012 E92 without navi. I just have a few questions:
1. Do I need to buy the cooling tube that is needed when retrofiting ccc or cic
2. Will the pre-installed bluetooth module in the driver footwell work, or I need to buy a new one.
Thanks !

Hi! Please see answers below:

1. There is no need to buy the cooling tube.
2. Bluetooth module is built into the NBT/NBT EVO head unit. All and any external Bluetooth modules will need to be removed (TCU or MULF or Combox). We will provide instruction for rewiring.

Hello guys. I have a question. How can I install the NBT touch controller on CIC trim ? The connecting points are different. Any idea ? I also bought the CIC bracket, but I dont see how can I transfer it to the nbt controller.

Depending on the type of the touch controller, you may need to remove the top bracket from the touch controller and then you will need to sand the hole in the CIC trim (to make it a little wider); in order to secure the touch controller in place, a custom mount will be needed underneath. You may use whatever method you prefer, the most simple is two screws and a metal cable.
CIC bracket cannot be used - you will not need it for this installation.

Thanks for the info ! And also is it normal for the NBT to never completely turn off ? In the morning it is instant on - there was no bootup at all.

EDIT: After some research I found out that NBT starts booting up as soon as you press the unlock button on your car. If I stay close do the door, unlock the car , enter the car fast and immediately after that insert the key, I see the boot animation. Maybe that is the case with you also or maybe it depends on the emulator.

Another question that I have is has anybody tried to enable BMW Live (Internet, Weather etc...) with Bluetooth internet ? I have coded this:
Quote:
3003 > DUN_PROFILE - aktiv
3003 > PAN_PROFILE - aktiv
3003 > ONLINE_BROWSER - beide_aktiv
3003 > ONLINE_SERVICES - nicht_aktiv
3003 > ONLINE_SERVICES_GLS - nicht_aktiv
3003 > ASSIST - nicht_aktiv
3003 > ONLINE_BROWSER_LIVE - aktiv
3003 > DATACOMM_CSIM - nicht_aktiv
But nothing shows up. I have only Mobile Care, Hotline and Your Service, which show up a phone number when I press them. I read that I have to code some VO, but I doubt I can code VO on a retrofitted NBT car.
