XS Power Charge Pipe V2 install complete. Again, like everyone said pretty easy. Trickiest part was getting the blow off valve installed, getting the rubber seal lined up while tightening down on the V Band clamp.
Does the seal to plug up the inlets for stock diverters need to be air tight? My kit came with 2 plastic plugs but they are not tight at all. What are my other options for plugs?

The caps they sent me go inside the tubes, and have threads on them.

plugs on the two inlets should only see vacuum, but it's probably better to secure them with a worm clamp or something, vacuum should be high when in boost

With plugs like that, i guess it should be ok without securing them with a clamp, no need IMO

I noticed some oil where the old diverters connected to the old charge pipe. Nothing significant, I'd describe it as dampness. Is this a concern?

And that oil is common and expected. If you run a rag through that stock charge pipe there's bound to be more. That's the stuff the low side CC would catch.

jpalmer51 Hmmm, I hate having to buy a battery charger just to flash, I will never need it again. Which brand/model did you got with?

I use them often enough that it was worth investing in a decent one. I went with the Deltran Battery Tender 75 amp with the built in wifi. It doubles as a jump box and is WAY more then you need to look at if your never using it again. If you have another vehicle you could always run cables to it and rig it up thay way. That works fine from what I've seen. The initial flash is going to be lengthy...20 min or more. I wouldn't attempt it without something juicing the battery.
You can also pick up a cheap one for $30 or so as opposed to the over $100 I spent on mine. |

Bought this one, hoping it does the trick: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I was going to flash today, but it's snowing so I can't take her out for a drive afterwards.

Thanks, I thought about the one I purchased only being 2 amps as well. The battery is new and I plan to charge it 24 hours before I start. Hoping I will be ok.
Can I connect it to the terminals in the engine compartment, or do I have to connect it to the actual battery in the trunk? 3 days of ice in front of me so still don't know when I will do this.

You should get at least a 10amp or more charger. You connect to the positive and negative terminals in the engine compartment. |

Mine is 75 amps. If he were close I'd let him use mine! Stinks to buy one and never use it again. .....and yes, just connect it to the terminals in the engine bay. |
