I love the style of G-star stuff. Haven't bought any jeans (most are a bit baggy for my taste) but I have some hoodies/sweaters/jackets from them.

Diesel Industry, G-Star Raw Denim, and Gsus Industris would probably get my top votes for greatest jeans.
You can also check out Jack & Jones jeans as they are a much cheaper version of the jeans mentioned above and look and feel just as good.

Damn... I read like 4 pages before I saw that this relic of a post is resurrected from last year.
But to the OP who returned, I was thinking from the start that I'm not one to dump $300 on jeans, but do pick up Lucky's from Nordstrom Rack for like $35/pr and love them because they're soft as a shamwow. They just don't last that long because of it, but at the price point, they work for me.

Yeah I know. I've had Nudie and Levi raw denim as well; so have no problem with that. but the fit of APC just doesn't seem to work on me.

I work in the business. If you're looking for a clean jean with good washes Earnsest Sewn is my personal favorite. Nudies are great too if you don't mind a more raw type denim.
