Agree, previous meets have cost around £50 for accommodation - this isn't a romantic weekend away is it? (I hope not!) Plus a taxi into town and back will cost nothing with 4-6 of us per taxi

I dont really want to stay in a dump again myself like last time. For example, the buxton hotel was ok. Im happy for that quality.

Right ive made some enquiries,

foudn 8 rooms at the moment, there are only 2 singles, at £68
One double for Ed and Mandy,

5 times single occupancy twin rooms which can be shared cost at £98

and with those bookings i can get us 10% discount, and further rooms available.

Have you looked on the Travelodge website? Their central Cambridge one is from £70 per room and their one out of town is from £32 per night.

Don't know how ropey they are, but if they've recently been refurbed, they're adequate for a night!

Central one has limited parking at £7.50 for the night
