Well, the hood bmw makes is made to crumple a certain way in an accident, likewise, a CF hood is stiffer than normal, and does not crumple, but cracks
so I would imagine the way the car is designed to take impact is affected, and frankly, for visual effects im not willing to risk that

I hear if you get into a front end crash in a 335 all you have to do is yell "PROCEEEEEEEED" during the accident and your car automatically repairs itself

thanks buddy... have you done anything else to your ride yet? Get that SSTT? You should look into the stage 1 tune from CStuning. Go hit the last page or 2 in the Chicagoland chat thread, JBone has the info for it and Tony (the guy who does it) is offering a pretty night group buy discount. Best thing of all its just a reflash so no screwing with installs on your ECU.

heres my question about the CS tune
if you have their flash, how can you go to your dealer for any warranty work??...you would have to drive to CS to get the car flashed back to stock before the dealer visit, then again after??

no alex, its undetectable completely, so they'd have no idea if they drove it, and even then they probably wouldn't know the difference. at least thats my understanding
BTW you need to sign up for that dyno day. i wanna see how much your car throws down

That is the only problem. They are going to have a tool that you can buy so you can flash your car back and forth. Not sure on price yet? Would be a PITA for some of us who live far away
