Thanks Faizaan. Definitely want you to work your magic on it asap - soon as we get another dry day!!

Sat Nav and the whole head unit was replaced a few months ago - not entirely sure why. As i said, i'd prefer the double din wide screen sat nav, but this does seem very efficient and works every time i try it.

You will get a chance for a good nose round on sat when you come over!

Made a final decision on my brake situation today. Basically, when i was at Simpsons the other day having the Bilsteins fitted they noticed that the front pads were completely shot and the discs half worn. The rear discs are slightly lipped, the pads also need replacing. My problem is that i cant warrant spending well over £2k on an AP BBK right this minute. I do want to fit a BBK, ideally AP, but its not going to be for at least 3 months. But equally ive got to get the brakes sorted.
So, after a lot of indecision and advice from friends (big thanks to Big Tone - even though i didnt take any of his actual advice!!) i ended up buying a set of fast road Performance Friction pads for the front and the rear. I then bought a set of BMW OEM front discs (big thanks to Anneka at Sytner). Ive decided to leave the rear discs as they are for time being as they are still relatively ok.
The reason ive done this is that as and when i can afford the AP BBK then i will box up the discs and pads ive just bought and then when i sell the car i will put these back on and sell the AP BBK seperately (or put them straight on the CSL i buy!! )
All the parts should hopefully be arriving tomorrow morning - im then having them fitted around midday.
Im currently sat at home trying to get my daughter off to sleep, waiting for Sal from Evolve to turn up at my home to drop off the 12mm spacers, extended bolts and locking wheel nuts - which he very kindly agreed to do so i also have them in time to have them fitted when i get the brakes done - big thank you to Sal and guys from Evolve!!!

Picked up the OEM discs from BMW Sytner this morning (thanks again Anneka!) - my Performance Friction pads arrived around 9am and Sal had dropped off the 12mm spacers and bolts last night (thanks again Sal!!)
Unfortunately whilst i was having all the bits fitted it was noticed that my drivers side front caliper was seized. So, ive had to order a new bloody caliper which i wasnt expecting - getting that fitted next Tues. In the meantime they got me up and running - just need to take it steady til next week!
Have to say the 12mm spacers have made a huge difference to the look and stance of the car and now fully compliment the drop of the Bilsteins even more. I had to have the rear arches rolled just to make sure there are no clearance issues and 12mm is definitely as far as i could go on the rear. But the fronts could easily accomodate a much wider spacer and still give loads of clearance - BUT i think i'll leave it as is now as ive heard anything more than 12mm can put unwanted stress on the components. Overall, im pretty happy with everything so far. Just waiting for my docs to come through for the private plate transfer and then OOP will be going on the car!!
Will upload some new pics of the latest mods when i get a chance and a dry day!!!

Re: Calipers - sorry to hear it, that's the thing about having things done, once you start you tend to find unfortunate surprises.

It sounds like the spacers were a success though

Thanks hun - and yes you are right, once you start tinkering it soon unearths other hidden problems. Still, thats part of the process and im taking it on the chin, so to speak!

Yea I have seen that one. Looks to be a bit of a "nail" I think though? It's also dubbed as "Diamond White" which leads me to believe it's wrapped or resprayed?
Mileage is a bit high for my liking aswell.
